Montecristo No. 2 Cigar - Pack of 3
Date Added: Sunday 12 August, 2018
My first time trying the No2, i usually smoke the No3 or 4, this is without doubt the best cuban cigar Ive had to date. Bit pricey buying the pack of 3 but worth every penny when you smoke it. Definitely recommend

Montecristo Linea 1935 Dumas Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 05 August, 2018
Montecristo Linea 1935 Dumas It’s not often that you get to try an entirely new cigar, especially one from a range as hotly anticipated as the Linea 1935. I am a fan of Montecristo in general and as I have matured as a cigar smoker, I have always found myself relying on the old stalwarts like the No2. Having tried the Open series and enjoyed them, but not ‘loved’ them, I was really looking forward to a chance to smoke a Linea 1935. I ordered two of each of the Leylanda and Dumas and they were delivered a couple of weeks ago, by the team at CGars. I would normally put my cigars away in the humidor for at least 6 months before I smoke them, but the anticipation was killing me and I was unable to wait that long. I picked a Dumas, as this is the size closest in size to a robusto, my favoured smoke. Construction is almost as good as it ever gets, a truly lovely wrapper, nut brown but with with an oily sheen and some darker depth to it. The cap was beautifully constructed and almost looks seamless from a distance, but when you get close you can see real precision to the workmans

My Father Le Bijou 1922 Petit Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 24 July, 2018
If this were a food it would be a decadent chocolate cake! I can’t give this cigar enough praise, stunning presentation, excellent construction, perfect draw. The dark obscuro wrapper promises, and delivers, a remarkably deep and intense smoke. There were veins and it did burn a little unevenly, however this didn’t detract from what was truly a delicious smoke, one that I burnt my fingers and lips trying to enjoy right to the bitter end. Flavours I detected were chocolate, wood, coffee, and a delicate whiskey aftertaste. It even had a somewhat peppery spice giving it a slight Cuban hint. Knocking off a star for uneven burn but other than that, a tremendous stick that I strongly urge you try!

My Father Le Bijou 1922 Petit Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 24 July, 2018
Excellent cigar and one of my favourites. Smoke lasts about 45 minutes, with a slow but consistent draw. Band comes apart easily. Ash holds together well with a light to grey colour. The flavour is excellent and I would definitely recommend it. 4 stars only because I dont know what a 5 star cigar is.

Montecristo Puritos Cigar - Pack of 5
Date Added: Saturday 07 July, 2018
I love these! Didn’t buy these from CGars, purchased from a local tobacconist, and they are amazing. Smoke with purpose, you’ll finish one in 15 mins, but smoke leisurely, and these can last you 25-30 mins! As others have said, despite being machine made, they look rustic, almost hand rolled. All the nutty, spicy flavours of a Cuban in a pocket sized pack. Give them a go!

Montecristo Petit Tubos Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 05 July, 2018
Had this as part of the Jack Frost Sampler. I’m new to cigars but so far I find you can’t go too wrong with a Montecristo. The draw on this one, however, was a bit tough but it did become easier and I was rewarded with more defined flavours later in the smoke. Though enjoyable, this won’t be my go-to cigar as overall it was mostly mild, the cigar equivalent of a Latté, if you will.
