Jose L Piedra Petit Cetros Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Friday 11 September, 2026
One day in humador only. Felt good with gentle squeeze, and nice clean decapping.Cold draw smell faint. Initial light up ok,but did have to prompt it with a few strong draws.Smoke bloom small, taste very very mellow. This is a very slow burner, and you do have to work it..Down about half an inch, good white ash and the burn line very good, taste so far a little bland. Now 2nd 3rd,I found by two short blow out puffs followed by a draw and hold, gave a better mouthful of smoke, same taste but a little hotter. There was a slight improvement on a more prominent taste as I started the 3rd 3rd, I think the cigar has potential, but they have to sort out the draw and even though mellow it needs a base note of flavour to stop it becoming a bit boring. It also left an oil slick on my lips..Probably be good if your new to cigars.I think there is room for improvement or lower the price.

An essential Cuban experience !! The Everyman Cuban cigar. Smooth throughout the smoke, some deep flavours to be found and great smoke time to make it special. An essential in the humidor mix 100%

Lovely cigar and already cut, burnt nice and evenly and didn’t need to relight at anytime. Will definitely order this cigar again burn time was also slightly longer than listed which adds to the value of this cigar.

Joya de Nicaragua Antano 1970 Coronet Cigar - 1 Single

Beginner smoker here, but I was able to thoroughly enjoy this supposedly "meduim/full" coronet. Very well constructed, burns as you'd like with some minor waves (millimetres) but I think this adds to the character, since they seemed to regularly appear and within one more pull correct themselves throughout the smoke. This was, I think, due to the fact that there is a great airflow in the filler/binder meaning you can take relatively small puffs to generate a lot of smoke, which is delicious by the way. My unrefined senses could detect a rich woody flavour, with fertile rainforest soil underneath. I'll definitely be buying more, but maybe try the lancero for a longer experience this time or possibly a larger ring gauge, although possibly this would create too much smoke for me to handle... Recommended even for beginners
