Camacho Connecticut Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 12 October, 2025
This was my first time trying Camacho and I was very pleasantly surprised. Well made, it burned straight and clean all the way down until the final third where I had to relight it once. I spent an enjoyable hour with this cigar and will be adding it to my rotation. Highly recommended if you have not tried these.

Chateau Diadem Conviction Petit Belicoso Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 12 October, 2025
I took a punt on the £10 mystery cigar and I wasn't disappointed. I left it in my humidor a week before lighting it up. It's not a vitola I would normally pick but it was a cracking smoke. Great construction and a really creamy taste on the retro-hale. Definitely worth a try. I paired it with an espresso.

A pleasant smooth and creamy smoke with a decent aroma. Not complex flavour but consistent and enjoyable. Only really getting slightly bitter in the last 3rd. Very impressive for this price point. The perfect budget smoke.

Cohiba Shorts Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 07 October, 2025
The Cohiba Shorts were alright, but I’ll be honest, I was expecting a bit more. Maybe it’s because I’d really enjoyed the Cohiba Minis and had high hopes for these, but they didn’t quite hit the same mark for me. The flavour was fine, just nothing that really stood out or made me want another straight away. They’re not bad by any means, just a bit underwhelming considering the name on the box. I actually prefer the Minis by a long way, they’ve got that sweet, satisfying edge that these seem to lack. Still, worth trying once to see for yourself, but for me, the Minis remain the clear winner.

Casa Carrillo La Historia El Senador Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 06 October, 2025
Good God I underestimated how strong this was going to be. I'm still a beginner but thought I'd built up at least a bit of tolerance to nicotine - boy was I mistaken. Got a very bad case of nicotine sickness shortly after finishing it and still feeling slightly unwell the next day. That being said, the draw was perfect and the burn was very even with an ash that fell off consistently after about 3cm. Doesn't burn particularly hot but doesn't go out easily on its own either. Middle of the cigar became quite squishy halfway through. Here's what it was like flavour-wise: 1st third Quite mild which slowly turns into strong sweetness/sugariness 2nd third Sugariness still dominates but overall flavour gets bolder and earthier with hints of strong coffee. Some spice here and there. Final third Sugariness continues but almost becomes a sort of sugary spice. Very bold. Finishes with strong mintiness right to the end. Overall, for me, it wasn't as mind-blowing flavour-wise as is made out. It was certainly very nice and definitely had some complexity

Curivari Buenaventura Picadores Corona Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 04 October, 2025
I love all the Curivari New World cigars they are absolutely fabulous including the Robusto size Picadores 5x50 but sat outside The Turks Head pub, St. Agnes, Isles of Scilly this September 2025 i tried the Picadore Corona 5x42 for the first time and was not at all impressed proving the point that the Robusto size and above are best for flavour and smoking experience, Curivari use Cuban seed tobacco and are exceptional quality and value from the Mini short Robusto 31/2x50 to the Toro 6x60 highly recommended, the nearest experience to smoking a Cuban cigar
