Oliva Serie V Belicoso Cigar - 1 Single

Really, really good. Everything you want in a cigar. Prefect construction, solid ash, great draw, beautiful flavours. I'm a big fan of montecristo and partagas. This is up there.

After using a punch the cold draw was interesting with Smokey spice aromas, and the first third was very much like the cold draw until it turned sweeter with a lovely spice and barn house taste. Solid construction and draw, that later part bought forth more spice and earthy tones.

On initial light up the flavours are a spicy black pepper and cinnamon.
The 1st third has deep bold notes of black coffee and oak. There is a sweet leather on the finish.
The 2nd third transitions into a dark chocolate and caramel flavour.
The final 3rd has lots of black coffee and earth notes.
A great cigar worth a buy when on offer!

Well constructed burned evenly fairly smooth with a one dimensional taste profile. Not bad but not complex I paired it with a sweet coffee initially but lost the flavour so finished the last third without coffee. I won’t be rushing to get another but worth a try.

Exceptionally refined and elegant cigar; however, it still packs that classic Nicaraguan pepper punch towards the finish.
Beautiful looking wrapper, oily and toothy, tight seams, even pack, cut with a single V the draw is perfect producing vast amounts of thick, cool white smoke.
Initially surprisingly subtle with a touch of sweetness alongside some light milk chocolate and creamy coffee, shifts to slightly dry roasted nut and smooth coffee, picks up pepper spice at the band point, finish is espresso coffee, cedar, oak and leather.
Strength is Initially low but it ramps up to a solid medium, body also starts low, gaining body as it progresses, finish is a sold full bodied smoke.
Perfect construction, no touch ups, razor sharp burn, ashes every half inch.
Most definitely worth buying.

honestly i haven’t even smoked from it. it’s more of a collectors piece to sit on a display for myself. it’s still a great little pipe to own for this reason alone however. cannot confirm the reliability of the smoke.
