Perdomo 20th Anniversary Maduro Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Friday 10 July, 2026
Tried one of these whilst out in Central. Flavour wise I have had better, but still very good. However build, burn and draw was immaculate. I think one of the most 'professional' feel cigars I have tasted so far. I now understand the hype around the brand's tobacco growing/aging process. Left me wanting to try out more Perdomos for sure.

Plasencia Reserva Original Robusto Cigar - 1 Single

What a beauty. Maybe draw and burn is not as good as other premium sticks but flavour is up there! Sweet creamy buttery undertones. In my experience the robusto smokes a bit better than the piramide. I believe this is box worthy.

Plasencia Reserva Original Robusto Cigar - 1 Single

This was the first cigar that made me think "omg, this is amazing. I am definitely a cigar guy" and started my love for cigars. I then explored many other cigars and was scared to come back to this one in case it wasnt the same. However, it did not disappoint and reignited my love for cigars. Chris from the Liverpool shop advised "this is how ever cigar should taste" and he's not wrong. Really lovely natural sweetness, cedar. Nothing offensive at all, some cheap cigars just taste like a campfire type of smoke. This was something else. Even the texture of the smoke was silky smooth. And of course impeccable construction.

Peterson Connoisseurs Choice Pipe Tobacco - 10g Sample

A beautiful smelling and looking blend but sadly lacking in discernible flavour. My palette is clearly not refined enough to pick out any of the flavours and so whilst it's a pleasant smoke, it's a bit boring. Very light, no nicotine, and very fine and whisp like smoke. You'd be fine smoking this at a garden party and not offend anyone, but you'd be bored. I think I just prefer my aromatics to have a main purpose than skirt around pleasantries.

Peterson Connoisseurs Choice Pipe Tobacco 50g Tin
Date Added: Saturday 04 July, 2026
Bit of a different review I suppose; I bought this tobacco off the back of raving reviews, I certainly was not disappointed by the tin scent or room note, this is a beautifully crafted tobacco and certainly has its place/niche. I do however find the aromatic taste whilst smoking quite perfumey/artificial. I have no problem smoking the whole 50g though, however I can't help but think the tobacco blend here shines brighter than the aromatics.

Peterson Deluxe Navy Rolls Pipe Tobacco - 50g tin (Formerly Dunhill Range)
Date Added: Monday 29 June, 2026
This is absolutely the best pipe tobacco I have smoked, that said I am new to smoking a pipe, trying to transition from cigars which are way too expensive. This tobacco is the one for me sweet and peppery but not too much absolutely 10/10
