PDR AF Gran Reserva Maduro Purito Cigar - Tin of 6
Date Added: Friday 03 April, 2026
Most definitely not a 15 minute smoke, really well packed, perfect draw, perfect construction...easily 30 minutes. Small ring gauge so a guillotine cut, excellent smoke output, nice and thick and brilliant white, quite an easy draw but not overly airy. Solid medium/strong body and medium/strong strength too, has a noticeable throat and upper chest nicotine hit; however, its smooth and somewhat creamy. Lots of leather and cedar upfront followed by creamy coffee and roasted nut, finish is bittersweet dark chocolate alongside dry coffee, has a nice underlying sweetness. Really good value for money, good construction, good flavours.

Plasencia Reserva Original Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 01 April, 2026
Smoked my first one of these today in the City shop based on teams recommendation for a nice quick smoke. As other have said the construction was superb with a really smooth draw. I found the first 5 minutes a little harsh but the cigar got better the more I smoked it, overall really enjoyed it. Definitely a solid quick option at this price point

Perla Del Mar Corojo - Robusto Cigar - 1 Single

A really enjoyable smoke for the price. The draw was open but not loose, producing plenty of dense, creamy smoke. Flavour-wise it started with a bit of pepper and cedar, then settled into a smoother profile with touches of coffee and a hint of sweetness. Construction was solid throughout not a razor‑sharp burn, but it never needed correcting. For a budget-friendly cigar it punches above its weight, and I’d happily keep one or two in the humidor for an easy, reliable smoke.

Plasencia Alma Fuerte Generacion V Cigar - 1 Single

This is a great cigar. Construction was good but needed few touches with a lighter in first third, after that it was a perfect even burn. Draw was perfect for the start. Flavour is so complex it's hard to put your finger on it but first half reminded me of smell and feel of a forest after rain when sun comes out on a worm spring day, (moss like with a floral sweet under tones), then it's more darker flavour of subtle dark chocolate, charcoal gets a bit more bitter. Took me over 100 minutes to smoke it. It's a great cigar.

Plasencia Alma Del Fuego Candente Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Friday 13 March, 2026
Bought a variety of Plasencia from their range after enjoying the "del Tribu" and the 'core' range; I have only tasted one. As with almost all Plasencia I have smoked, a very good construction with plenty of smoke. After the first half or so, I was ready to put this in the category of 'interesting; a good change up rather than a regular smoke. But the final third really shifted into something more and I would now look at buying more. For me, it's a far more agreeable blend throughout, compared to the "Alma Fuerte" which dosn't quite hit my palate, but it offers a deeper richness than the "Tribu". It is perhaps a nice midpoint, if not quite either! As always with cigars, each to their own...

Peterson Special Cut (Formerly Tropical Fruits & Nut) Pipe Tobacco 50g Tin

After trying first thing in the mornings for quite a while it has become a firm favourite, the aromatic aspect is not overpowering this nutty, mild sweet blend. Its a real pleasure, Love it. Highly recommend it
