I first smoked one of these some months ago, having read a well written review on another site and thoroughly enjoyed it. At the time the opportunity did not arise to review it myself, but I didn't hesitate to buy a couple more.
The construction is impeccable, with a little pigtail twist on the cap. The wrapper is a flawless matt light brown and smooth to the touch. The unlit aroma is delightful and hints of floral and cedar are apparent.
I used a punch on this but opened the hole up with a 4 tightly overlapping punches, as this thick 54 gauge cigar. Lighting was easy and despite others mentioning canoeing, it was not experienced with this particular smoke, although the previous one did to a small extent. Once lit, the first thing that you notice is the effortless smooth draw, as near to perfect as you are ever likely to get, with a rich thick cool creamy smoke right to the last. The balance is predominantly a sweet, with a mix of flavours, slightly floral and a little honey, underpinned by toasted nuts and fragrant wood. Others have mentioned an earthiness, but if it was the
