Trinidad Fundadores Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 19 December, 2016
Trinidad is a fabulous medium strength smoke, and a great alternative to Cohiba, Trinidad Fundadores is a great alternative to Cohiba Lanceros with bigger ring gauge, 40 x 192mm. The first part begins with a cold smoke with a nice woody and earthy flavours, after a few minutes I started finding a great caramel hint and very creamy taste. On the second part, I can taste a great Vanilla flavour with a few white pepper notes. The last part the earthy flavours are getting more prominent with spicy hints. Great smoke and perfect cigar- David, Turmeaus Liverpool

Very more-ish. I dare say you could smoke this blend as a roll-up but i haven't tried. Recommended!

I brought this cigar as I have read quite a few reviews and it sounded like a good cigar. Wow, it didn't disappoint. First of all, on inspection of the cigar it was clearly very well made, and very pretty to look at. It was very well rolled with no seems on show at all. There were a couple of small veins which added to the look of the cigar. And of course the pig tail always makes me smile. Once I cut the cigar I took a good pre draw and straight away the flavours were evident. The flavours are subtle and pleasant. As soon as the cigar was lit I got a hint of coco and a small amount of nutty flavour. The cigar was very consistent all the way and stayed very well flavoured till the end. To be honest I usually leave a cigar with a bit still to go, however with this cigar I could not put it down and I didn't leave it till I burnt my fingers! Overall the cigar lasted me around 40mins and I only put it down once or twice. It burnt very consistently and didn't need any touch ups. A big thank you to cgars for yet another great smoke and I will definitely be ordering a box of these

Very disappointing. At the beginning I got a sweet taste on my lips but as to coffee, I don't think so. It did produce a tonne of smoke but apart from that it was a very poor cigar. It had no taste at all and was on the whole quite unpleasant. It also suffered from construction issues with bits of leaf coming out all the time like a cheap machine rolled cigar and at times was very difficult to get a good draw. I am sticking to Cuban cigars from now on. On the whole the quality shines through and you know where you are.

I love Trinidad cigars! Maybe it's because I'm a graphic designer? But visually these things are really aesthitcally pleasing! And what makes me happy is they deliver on their flavours and quality of smoke! The Reyes, although small, is a real kick ass little unit! A little more fuller bodied than the coloniales I'd say which was a surprise. As always, they're presented beautifully! And I have never had a cigar so consistently rolled in the Trinidad range.

What else can I say, this is a very special cigar. Lovely on a summers evening. Holds a good tooth and is beautifully wrapped. A pleasant draw not to light or too tightly packed. The outer wrapper is smooth and a real attractive colour. I did get a slightly uneven burn in the first 1/3rd but a little work with the lighter sorted that out for the rest of the burn. I brought this 6 months ago for £17, and it has been worth the wait. I would definitely add this to my top 10.
