My Father Flor De Las Antillas - Toro Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 09 July, 2020
I just finished this. I think I messed up the toasting when I lit it as I really didn’t enjoy the first 10 mins buy the 2nd third and last third were truly outstanding. Nuts, cedar, a hint of pepper and I also got some aged tobacco notes that remind me of a damp basement! That might sound weird but that is what the patrons always taste like and I love it! Not quite as nice as the le bijou 1922 but certainly only a tick below. Still a 5 star smoke and better than most sticks you can get in the uk for under £20

My Father Le Bijou 1922 Torpedo Box Pressed Cigar - 1 Single

Top 5 all time favourite smoke. The scent is pure cigar perfume, the draw exceptional, the construction is perfection. I have smoked 2 of these, one walking through the woods, one at home. The enjoyment was a 98/100 in the woods, 100/100 at home, sat in the back garden, no noise, no distraction. It might sound silly, but a truly amazing cigar makes me feel like I have gone through a renewal of sorts. Enjoying the changing flavours that speak to you as if telling you a story. It’s a zen like experience. For £25 that is a bargain. Buy a few and when you are stressed and need to relax, switch your phone off, sit in the sun and light one of these up and you will feel brand new.

My Father LE BIJOU 1922 Petit Robusto Cigar - 1 Single

Strong and full bodied smoke but somewhat one dimensional in my opinion. Ive smoked several of these and all have been well constructed and had excellent draw.

Montecristo No. 1 Cigar - 1 Single

One of my gotos is the No. 4 because it always delivers on flavour, draw, burn and smoke. The No. 1 is similar in every aspect apart from the draw for the first two inches, and in turn the smoke. Very tight by comparison and therefore for the extra money Im not convinced its a viable option, for me anyway. Being an engineer I have, sadly, calculated that this works out £0.45/inch dearer than the No. 4.

I likely got a bad one but it was enough to put me off getting another. I’ve heard this cigar may like other Cubans be inconsistent.

My Father Le Bijou 1922 Torpedo Box Pressed Cigar - Box of 23

Simply stunning. The Chocolate aroma as you unwrap this beautiful lady is mouth watering.. so smooth and creamy all the way to the last 1/3 when admittedly got a bit too peppery for my tongue, but still my new favourite cigar and just bought a box! . Can’t believe how this leaves every Cuban I’ve tried so far in its rear view mirror and can see why it won cigar of the year. Delicious! Don’t miss out.
