Joya de Nicaragua Silver Corona Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 17 December, 2024
What a nice little cigar with tastes of wood, toasted nuts and some spice. Really built well and burned evenly all the way to the nub, no issues. Band came away with ease and it took me around 50 minutes to enjoy it.

Nice smelling cigar. Smoked via a small punch cut. Very easy to draw. Lots of sweet smelling smoke. Slightly peppery on the lips. Nice aroma on the retrohale. Little bit harsh, but not too bad considering the low price. Lasted about 20 minutes. Will buy again as gets a quick fix for short car journeys.

This cigar started of great with woody, earthy notes with just a little spice, nice easy draw. Second third it became a very tight draw with an uneven burn which needed touching up a couple of times. Final third removing the band and the draw became good again with the same flavours all the way to the nub with just an extra kick of spice. Total smoke time for me (Slow smoker) was 80 minutes.

Really nice cigar. Very good construction nice clean even burn with a decent level of smoke. Nice mild and easy smoke. One for early in the day and one I’d recommend for someone that is new to cigars. It’s a really good one to get into. I’ve bought a few of these now and will keep them for when I fancy a mild smoke or to give to guests that aren’t regular cigar smokers.

Smooth and an easy creamy smoking cigar with a small touch of spice all the way through. No touch up or re lights needed. 80 minute total smoke time at a leisurely pace which even got better as you reached the nub. Good ash retention and plenty of smoke. A must have in any humidor.

J. Cortes High Class Honduran Cigar - Orange - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 07 November, 2024
This cigar was surprisingly good for a budget cigar. I paired it with a smoked coffee and they complimented each other brilliantly. It was a smooth draw, even burn with lots of smoke (which i love). The retro hale gives a lovely white pepper taste and a mild but nice creamy finish in the mouth. Its not a complex cigar as it shouldnt be for ?7 and machine rolled. Lasted 50 mins and left me feeling relaxed and calm. This is the only budget brand i have found that i enjoy. I usually smoke ?15-25 pound cigars but honestly i will buy more of these just as a cheap mid week smoke.
