The J. Cortes High Class Sumatran Blue Tubed is a really nice smoke, my favourite from the range so far. Smooth flavour, consistent burn, and a good balance of strength and sweetness. I’d rate it a solid 8/10. It’s reasonably priced too, so mixing up a few from the same line now and then feels like good value without sacrificing quality.

It lasted a fair while and was enjoyable right to the end, though it did get a bit hot and burnt my lips towards the finish, probably my fault for pushing it too far. I’ve since learnt these can stay in their tubes for up to a year, so next time I’ll just leave it in there rather than popping it in the humidor. A lovely, easy-going cigar that I’ll definitely keep in rotation.
