Jose L Piedra Cazadores Cigars - Pack of 5
Date Added: Tuesday 14 October, 2025
I was very disappointed with this purchase. The 1st cigar was a good smoke and I thought this was a steal for the price. The 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th cigar were terrible smokes. The draw on the cigar was almost impossible as I was either straining to draw or had to keep trying to re-light the cigar. The outer fell apart on all of the cigars bar the 1st. The taste left in my mouth after each draw attempt was harsh and unsavoury. A very uncomfortable smoke and wasn't relaxing at all. Would not recommend.

J. Cortes High Class Dominican Cigar - White - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 13 October, 2025
The J. Cortes High Class Dominican Corona (White Tubed) is a nice, decent sized cigar that offers good value for money. It’s mild and smooth with no harshness or lingering aftertaste, which makes it an easy smoke, especially if you prefer something lighter. The construction’s solid, and the tube makes it handy to store without worrying about a humidor for a while. For me though, it’s just a bit too mild. I found myself wishing for a bit more depth or a touch of sweetness on the lips, which this one doesn’t really have. Still, it’s a pleasant, uncomplicated cigar and a good option if you like mellow flavours or want something to enjoy without too much intensity.

J. Cortes High Class Sumatran Cigar - Blue - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 06 October, 2025
The J. Cortes High Class Sumatran Blue Tubed is a really nice smoke, my favourite from the range so far. Smooth flavour, consistent burn, and a good balance of strength and sweetness. I’d rate it a solid 8/10. It’s reasonably priced too, so mixing up a few from the same line now and then feels like good value without sacrificing quality. It lasted a fair while and was enjoyable right to the end, though it did get a bit hot and burnt my lips towards the finish, probably my fault for pushing it too far. I’ve since learnt these can stay in their tubes for up to a year, so next time I’ll just leave it in there rather than popping it in the humidor. A lovely, easy-going cigar that I’ll definitely keep in rotation.

Joya de Nicaragua Silver Toro Cigar - Box of 20
Date Added: Sunday 05 October, 2025
This Joya perfectly captures the bold, earthy character that Nicaraguan cigars are known for. As someone still learning the nuances of cigar profiles, I’ve found Joya to be one of the most consistent and rewarding brands to explore. Every cigar in their range feels thoughtfully made, with reliable construction and a clear sense of identity. The overall flavor profile leans toward rich, full-bodied notes—earth, spice, coffee, and cocoa—balanced by subtle sweetness and depth. Even their lighter offerings, like the Cabinetta, carry a distinct Nicaraguan warmth, while blends such as the Red, Black, and Antaño showcase increasing layers of strength and complexity. What stands out most is how each cigar seems to build upon the next, offering a clear path of progression for anyone developing their palate. Draws are typically smooth, the smoke output generous, and the burn performance consistently reliable. Joya cigars invite you to slow down and appreciate the craftsmanship behind every leaf. For me, the brand represents confidence and authenticity—bold flavors without pretense, and q
