Joya de Nicaragua Antano 1970 Machito Cigar - Pack of 5
Date Added: Wednesday 16 August, 2023
Great smoke thoroughly enjoyable. Has an earthy flavour that suits my taste pallet and reminds me of some of the first cigars I had when I was trying cigars for the first time. Id recommend these to the avid cigar smoker as they burn well and have good flavour.

J. Cortes High Class Honduran Cigar - Orange - Box of 10
Date Added: Saturday 05 August, 2023
Wasnt the best quality, but it is a cheap cigar at the end of the day. Lights up easily enough but seemed to burn unevenly. Around a 30 minute smoke. Started off pretty bitter tasting but once it got down to around half way it changed to a more mellow flavour. There ok for the price but I probably wouldnt buy them again

Jose L Piedra Conservas Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 05 August, 2023
Highly recommended as a beginner cigar to share with a first timer. It is mild in strength, lights easily, burns evenly without needing to be relighted once put down and a very good draw. The draw is a particular stand out. It’s not so tight that a first timer would lose interest but not so easy you draw in lots of smoke. Only giving 4 stars as the flavour doesn’t truly develop until the last quarter at which point the wrap gets slightly flakey.

Jose L Piedra Conservas Cigar - Box of 12
Date Added: Saturday 05 August, 2023
I bought a bundle of Jose L. Piedra cigars a few years ago when I was very new to cigars, and liked them. So, I was looking forward to these - but they were very disappointing. The flavours were very mild, though I knew they would be so I have no problems there. The problem was the draw - I would estimate well over half the cigars were bunged so tight that I could barely smoke them. The analogy of sucking a golf ball through a straw comes to mind. They also burned quite unevenly, though I expect that was the result of me over-puffing to try and get any smoke out of the damn things. When I persevered, they got better around the last third, and the flavours - though light and mild - were pleasant enough. But I got so brassed off with the draw issues, I binned a few of them early on (which is unusual for me, as I am a bit of a skinflint and usually try and get my moneys worth). Maybe I had a dud box - but personally for this price point, I would now go for a blue Inka Secret Blend instead of these. Being Cuban clearly isnt everything.

J. Cortes High Class Sumatran Cigar - Blue - Box of 10
Date Added: Friday 14 July, 2023
While the J. Cortes High Class Sumatran Cigar showcases a visually appealing Sumatran wrapper, the overall smoking experience left something to be desired. The cedar notes were pleasant and the touch of spice added a welcomed twist, but the earthiness seemed somewhat overpowering and lacked the desired depth. Although the craftsmanship is evident, this cigar may not fully satisfy aficionados seeking a more nuanced and well-rounded flavor profile.
