I smoked this at a wedding and it was delicious definitely would recommend buying it. It comes in this nice glass case and presented very well. It burned nicely and there was no damage or problems with the tobacco leaf

Bigger is not always better.
The craftsmanship is impressive and it smoked fairly well, needing a couple touchups on one side. It was a smooth smoke throughout, starting with a very feint dark chocolate, quickly subsiding to a mild nuttyness. Towards the end there was some spice and pepper but overall I found the flavour uninspired and a little boring. Unfortunately underwhelming for this price point.

Absolutely beautiful looking cigar, slightly oily to the touch with a stunning mocha coloured, smooth wrapper, combined with the beautiful looking bands makes for a really understated but classy looking cigar. Incredibly packed, feels heavy in the hand, quite a tight draw, initially cut with a single V, I needed a second V to open it up, even then smoke output is thin...needs 2 or 3 draws to get decent amounts. Very smooth, slightly sweet, slightly creamy upfront followed by roasted almond, black pepper and some gentle leather and coffee. Ash retention is around an inch or so and quite flakey, burn is slightly uneven but no corrections needed. Amount of draws needed for decent amount of smoke leads to slight overheating. Decent enough, not sure I'd have another.

I was very disappointed with this purchase. The 1st cigar was a good smoke and I thought this was a steal for the price.
The 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th cigar were terrible smokes. The draw on the cigar was almost impossible as I was either straining to draw or had to keep trying to re-light the cigar. The outer fell apart on all of the cigars bar the 1st. The taste left in my mouth after each draw attempt was harsh and unsavoury. A very uncomfortable smoke and wasn't relaxing at all.
Would not recommend.

This was part of an Avo sampler offer and tried it a few nights ago. I'm not great at identifying different tastes in a cigar but picked up what seemed to be a lovely chocolate taste in the first part. Fairly loose draw but plenty of delicious smoke and burnt well. Thoroughly enjoyed this and would buy again.

The J. Cortes High Class Dominican Corona (White Tubed) is a nice, decent sized cigar that offers good value for money. It’s mild and smooth with no harshness or lingering aftertaste, which makes it an easy smoke, especially if you prefer something lighter. The construction’s solid, and the tube makes it handy to store without worrying about a humidor for a while.
For me though, it’s just a bit too mild. I found myself wishing for a bit more depth or a touch of sweetness on the lips, which this one doesn’t really have. Still, it’s a pleasant, uncomplicated cigar and a good option if you like mellow flavours or want something to enjoy without too much intensity.
