The Davidoff Yamasa Pirámides has been one of the most impressive cigars I’ve smoked so far, and it completely changed my perception of what Davidoff is capable of. From the moment I picked it up, it felt bold and purposeful. On the cold draw, I noted dark earth, cocoa, and a touch of sweetness.
Once lit, the cigar opened with rich, deep flavors—black pepper, espresso, and mineral-heavy earthiness that immediately set it apart. The Yamasa wrapper brings a distinctive intensity, but it’s beautifully balanced by the Dominican filler. As the cigar progressed, layers of dark chocolate, roasted nuts, and subtle sweetness emerged, creating a complex yet controlled experience.
The pirámide shape helped concentrate the flavors, and the construction was flawless: razor-sharp burn, perfect draw, and thick, luxurious smoke. The strength built gradually but never became overwhelming.
This cigar felt confident, powerful, and refined all at once. It’s a standout blend that rewards attention and slow smoking, offering complexity well beyond what I expected.

This is such a good cigar. Perfect construction only needed one touch with a lighter over 80 minutes smoke. Nice sweet with a lot of smoke. Cherry with dark chocolate and coffee then more coffee but still sweet and little bit creamy finishing with earth flavour. Absolutely beautiful cigar. I recommend it a specially if you in dark flavours. A while back I had joya red but I think this one is much better. Not really strong and very smooth.

I am a big fan of Dunbarton cigars. However, this cigar was a huge disappointment. It is actually one of the worst cigars that I had in 2025. It certainly doesn't reflect the brand as a whole. I love the Sobremesa and the Sin Compromiso. This cigar is just a bad apple in a great portfolio.

As a purchase for a discontinued line, this is about Ok. At £8 then I wouldn't have wished to pay more, but it was a good price.It is a nice, easy draw, middle-of-the-road taste that you could smoke while dog walking or fishing. There is nothing really good or bad to say about it except that the construction is not that great, with a distinct soft middle that is very swishy.A cigar you could give away to a friend or beginner, and unless they know their cigars, they wouldn't be disappointed. For me, ? no, I will not be buying anymore

Surprisingly solid, really enjoyable for the price. Not exactly complex but for a nice cheap short smoke can't say much against it

This was a very satisfying and easygoing smoke that lasted well over 90 minutes. The burn was steady, and the cigar delivered a pleasant creaminess throughout, making it a smooth and relaxing experience from start to finish.
