Peterson pipe tobaccos are often more known for their more traditional, British style tobacco blends, such as University Flake and Irish Flake, even more so since they picked up the old Dunhill mixtures. However, they are equally talented when it comes to flavoured blends. Luxury Blend is a great example of this, with Orange Virginias, sweet Black Cavendish and Burley, topped with a vanilla and honey casing. Personally, I also detect a slight hint of citrus fruit. When smoked, it is subtly sweet, without being sickly. A very nice balance.

extremely tight draw ruined what would have been a otherwise nice cigar, tried to play around with it but still couldnt get much out of it, avoid this one

Rock Rose Scottish Gin - 70cl 41.5%

A gorgeous, floral gin with a powerfully rich berry nose with hints of smooth white pepper. It has a very zesty, blueberry and hoppy pallet which is perfectly paired with a Mediterranean Tonic and a spot of sunlight!

Arran Bodega Sherry Cask - 55.8% 70cl

This cask strength delight has been distilled in Lochranza, Isle of Arran. Its rounded nose has hints of milk chocolate brownies, vanilla ice-cream and Turkish Delight, with a heavy palate of rich fruits, hard boiled sweets and strawberry laces.

This Panamanian rum is expertly finished inside a cognac cask, giving it a very rich, French oak nose and rounded body. The combination of the two different casks help to accentuate the natural sweetness of Ron Abuelo. Hints of blackcurrant, cherry and lime coat the palate, followed by a long, smooth finish.

This cigar was an alternative replacement for a faulty Cuban I had ordered and thank goodness for that! What a smoke, beautiful draw, even burn with a sweet and cocoa like taste coming through. I am gobsmacked by how nice this cigar was, I certainly canÂ’t afford to smoke these too often but I will definitely be treating myself to another one some time.
