La Galera Connecticut Chaveta Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 19 August, 2025
I really enjoyed this mild and creamy cigar. I am a newer smoker and tend to prefer milder cigars, and have been exploring what's available. If you're looking for something smooth and easy going, I'd recommend this. However, as I cut the cigar with a good quality v-cutter, 3-4cm of wrapper immediately came loose from the cap (repaired with a dab of honey) - I watched a online review of this cigar that had exactly the same issue in the same place, so perhaps have some cigar glue on standby! The draw was a little tight, but never difficult nor plugged. The ash held really well throughout and the burn-line was flawless with no re-lighting or touch-ups required. It lasted me a slow-smoking 1hr 15 mins. I will buy this again.

Samuel Gawith Range Pipe Tobacco Sampler - 50g
Date Added: Tuesday 19 August, 2025
This sample collection is a 10/10 - Many different flavours to experiment with. They all seem to have a signature scent and flavour that overreaches into every blend, while maintaining a distinct flavour for each tobacco. I have tried all so far apart from the commonwealth mixture and I have to say these are very high quality and sophisticated blends. My favourite has got to be the Skiff Mixture as it is fast burning, has a nice smooth flavour and works well with corn cob and briar pipes alike. That being said I think that all of these blends are very pleasurable to smoke and are absolutely great value for money considering the high quality. A definite recommendation.

Foundation Charter Oak CT Broadleaf Petit Corona Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 18 August, 2025
I went into smoking this cigar with high expectations as a friend of mine said they were a great smoke and one of his favourites. The positives: great flavours and strength. I got a strong leather note which was pleasant and black pepper/cayenne with some creamy notes in there too. I also got some nice woodsy flavours. This cigar also produced lots of great looking smoke that hung nicely in the air. The negatives: I had to battle with an uneven burn from about half way into the first third. With the cigar having a closed foot I made sure that it was lit properly after smoking through the wrapper that closed off the foot. Along side the uneven burn I had to relight often from halfway onwards. For me I loved the flavour of the cigar but the uneven burn and relights did let it down. I would recommend trying the cigar for the great flavours but would be cautious of construction issues.

Bells Three Nuns Pipe Tobacco 40g Pouch
Date Added: Sunday 17 August, 2025
Really wanted to try this one as it was one CS Lewis and Tolkien Smoked. This Tobacco is a Shag cut and has a nice sweet taste but I found this to burn quite hot and to be quite bland. It’s a blend that has probably changed a lot over the years and probably not for the better. No doubt there are still fans of this Tobacco but I’m not one of them, I was hoping to like this one but I find this comparable with cheaper blends like Golden Blends etc and I don’t think I’ll purchase more. I prefer more interesting blends that are a bit stronger and offer more flavour.

Kendal Coniston Unscented Cut Plug Pipe Tobacco (Loose)
Date Added: Sunday 17 August, 2025
Bought this as an alternative to Condor which I enjoy and this is a really good Tobacco. It does remind me of Condor but without as much of that Condor Floral flavouring. It’s Dark rich and quite strong and I would recommend this to those that prefer stronger Tobacco’s.

Puffin Cigars - Chubby - 1 Single

Had followed some reviews and though nicely price to try, have to be honest wasn't blown away, but it was well made and burnt well, just didn't get much flavour/taste from it for me.
