Charatan Claro Half Churchill Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 27 October, 2025
Great beginner smoke. It felt consistently packed throughout and burned straight as an arrow. Initial scent out of the box was very mild and upon lighting the flavour followed suit. Draw was easy and the smoke was thick and creamy. Would make a fantastic cigar for someone unsure about them as the length is much less daunting than a full size Churchill. The ring gauge provides the feel and experience of a larger cigar without the pressure to finish it if you decide it isn’t for you. The aftertaste wasn’t overwhelming and didn’t linger for too long either. I didn’t notice any change in flavour throughout the cigar which was a little disappointing personally. Overall, I will definitely be keeping a few of these in the humidor for those friends and family that are unsure where to start.

Parker of London Tapered Conical Pipe Cleaners - Pack of 100
Date Added: Monday 27 October, 2025
These are fantastic for cleaning the mouthpiece and tank of my eliquid mod. I've used these for years as they are the perfectly sized fit having a taper which cleans well. With regular smoking going the way of the dinosaurs, I wonder how long we'll be able to get these.

Gurkha Cellar Reserve 12 Year Old Grand Rothchild Tubos Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 26 October, 2025
A very good cigar that performs well above its price point. The initial light was reasonably easy ( I often find perfectos a bit of a faff to get going but this wasn't bad at all ) and the burn soon settles to a very even line. There is a sweet note that remains throughout what is a solid medium strength smoke. Although the flavours become a little milder towards the second third they soon kick back in with a little cedar and leather with a gentle spice that holds to the end of the smoke. The ash holds extremely well, and I only initially knocked it off in order to remove the band, which speaks volumes for the quality of the construction of the cigar. This is not the most complex of cigars and I have probably had more enjoyable, albeit smaller, ones for the money which stops me from awarding the full five stars. Having said that I have also had less rewarding smokes for a lot more money than this. Well worth a try.

Montecristo Shorts Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 26 October, 2025
I picked a couple of Montecristo Shorts expecting that classic Montecristo refinement in a quick, convenient format—but this one missed the mark for me. From the first light, the flavor came across a bit harsh, with a sharp edge that never really mellowed out. I was hoping for that creamy smoothness and balance Montecristo is known for, but instead, it leaned bitter and slightly acrid, even when I slowed down my draw. About halfway through, things went further downhill as the wrapper started to unravel. It’s frustrating when construction issues interrupt what little enjoyment you’re getting, especially from a brand with such a strong reputation. I tried to nurse it along, but the burn became uneven and the draw tightened up, making it more of a chore than a pleasure to finish. To be fair, the aroma had a pleasant woody note and there were glimpses of the signature Montecristo earthiness underneath the rough exterior—but they were fleeting. Overall, this cigar felt rushed and unrefined compared to their larger formats. Maybe I just got a bad stick, but for me, the Montecristo Sh

Drew Estate Acid Krush Classic Gold Sumatra Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 26 October, 2025
I wasn’t sure what to expect with this one, but I really enjoyed it. Taken straight out of the humidor, it lasted around 20 minutes, and the flavour was excellent, very sweet on the lips, smooth, and fuller than you’d guess from the small size. For me, it could easily jump into the “favourite of its type” list. The Sumatra wrapper and the light infusion combine for a mellow but satisfying smoke. It’s one of those little cigars that punches above its weight. I’ll definitely keep a tin in the rotation.

Wilsons of Sharrow Pipe Cleaners Multi Coloured Straight - 5 Packs of 50 (250)
Date Added: Saturday 25 October, 2025
Sadly too flimsy to be of much use. Do not appear to have a thinner end so with most pipes it is impossible to insert them through the mouthpiece. They do co clean but gently as the slightest pressure causes them to buckle.
