Flor De Oliva Connecticut Robusto Cigar - 1 Single by Callum

Delicious value. Got this as a £10 mystery. Ive never had a connecticut before , i usually favour maduros. I thouroughly enjoyed the whole thing. Even managed to retrohale the majority of the cigar which i cannot do with a lot of other blends. I could taste a lot of sweet cedar with a slightly dry finish (not a bad thing) Will be smoking anotuer in the future and has opened my eyes to connecticut blends. Construction was ace. i love that fact it has two ringbands , for my collection.

Montecristo Open J Cigar - 1 Single by Martin

I picked this up as part of a sampler having had them before. It smelt like a typical montecristo lit easily and required no touching up. Being an open montecristo it is lighter than typical montecristos but you can still taste a slight Cuban twang, a lovely way to spend 30 minutes

Inka Secret Blend Red Petit Corona Cigar - 1 Single by Gavin

Had my first experience with this stick after getting a couple in a sampler bundle. Flavour wise it's decent with plenty of woody and earthy notes and a decent smoke from that perspective. On the down side it was a bit of a challenging smoke. The draw and the burn was very inconsistent and uneven and the construction wasn't great. Multiple relights and the lit end finished up looking like a mashed up fountain pen nib. All in all a bit of a mixed bag and I don't think i'll be rushing back.

Peterson Deluxe Navy Rolls Pipe Tobacco - 10g Sample by Chas

I let this dry for an hour before packing it, and admittedly I am very new to pipes but good grief, this tobacco refused to burn! The embers went out after 2 puffs! I have a small 20mm by 20mm pipe and this lasted me 45 mins but 30 of that was spent with half a box of matches, then half a lighter's worth of fuel. I got halfway and just gave up. The thing is, the flavour was light, fresh, peppery, with a pleasant room note and very little tongue bite despite all the hard puffing I out it through to keep it lit. If it stayed lit I'd say it was incredibly enjoyable, but instead I found it frustrating. Will dry it longer and crumble it even more the next time...

Kendal Bobs C Medium Flake Pipe Tobacco (Loose) by David

A fantastic tin note of chocolate that carries through to the beginning of the smoke but quickly fades and you're left with a relatively bland and bitter Lakeland. If you really try, thebitter chocolate taste can still be found in the deep background. This is definitely a savoury smoke which makes the chocolate notes, though distant, feel off. This is my second sample pack of this blend and I wanted to like it, sadly it didn't deliver to my taste.

Perdomo 20th Anniversary Connecticut Robusto Cigar - 1 Single by Matthew

I believe this is an upgrade on the "Champagne" 10th anniversary edition, with more going on. Got some raisin on the cold draw and then pot very easily. Lovely thick, cool, smoke with some hay and nutty notes. Construction was impressive and lasted me 2 hours. Thoroughly enjoyed this.
