CLE Asylum 13 Short Corona Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 02 March, 2026
I'm a beginner and this was my first of the 'darker' wrapper cigars. I definitely noticed more depth of flavour, but didn't personally get any chocolate or cofee etc, but maybe that's my undeveloped palate. I did have a bit of trouble with the burn, it got quite uneven, but again this could be down to me more than the cigar.

Zino Nicaragua Half Corona Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 02 March, 2026
I'm a beginner and got this as part of a sampler pack, and this was the most enjoyable one for me. It burned perfectly and had flavour without feeling strong. I'm not really experienced enough to single out tasting notes, but if anything i'd say nutty, with an almost bicuity finish. I'll revisit this one in a robusto size I think.

Bought this on recommendation from cigar shop in Edinburgh and smoked it on day off at home lovely sunny but windy day but smoked superbly never required touching up and washed well, tasted lovely with medium Cuban twang flavours that sat on my tongue afterwards very nice I will be adding to my favourite list and lasted a good 60 minutes

Samuel Gawith Best Brown Flake Pipe Tobacco (Loose)

fairly robust nice virgina smoke. slight plummy smell on opening, not as fruity smell as the full virginia flake and to me the full virginia flake is a slightly better smoke with best brown being a bit lighter all round.

Independencia 1898 Half Corona Cigar - 1 Single

I've had two of these on separate occasions. I see other people have come across construction issues and unwrapping I seem to have touched lucky both times ? no construction issues, they didn't unwrap and burnt well. Taste-wise... I really enjoyed. Nice and nutty, flavour stayed with me for a while after the cigar. Paired very well with both whisky and coffee. I enjoyed a lot more than i thought I would for the price. And I've had more expensive cigars that have not really impressed me. When you get a nicely constructed one, they're a pleasant cheap lil stick ?
