The Fonseca No.1 has quickly earned a spot at the very top of my list, it might actually be my all-time favourite. From the moment I lit it up, I was impressed by how light yet full of flavour it was. There’s a gentle creaminess mixed with subtle notes of wood and a soft sweetness that makes it incredibly easy to enjoy.
What really stands out is how smooth and well-balanced it feels. Every puff delivers clean, delicate flavors that never overpower, just flow effortlessly. The burn was even, the draw perfect, and it held its shape beautifully all the way through.
For the quality you get, the Fonseca No.1 is incredible value. It’s refined, approachable, and just an absolute pleasure to smoke from start to finish. A stunning cigar that proves you don’t need to spend a fortune to experience something truly special.

This was my first H. Upmann, so I was excited to try it. A smooth smoke with very woody and savoury notes throughout. It paired perfectly with a glass of Ron Abuelo 12 años. It's worth noting, it had a slightly tight draw and took some puffing to keep it going, but overall a very enjoyable smoke.

I first tried this cigar in a sampler and have since bought a few more. The construction is excellent as I have found with every other Regius cigar I have smoked. It is quite mild at first but develops into a really good tasty smoke. These normally last me and hour and are really good value. Cheap enough to be an everyday smoking cigar.

A pleasant smooth and creamy smoke with a decent aroma.
Not complex flavour but consistent and enjoyable. Only really getting slightly bitter in the last 3rd. Very impressive for this price point. The perfect budget smoke.

The Drew Estate Undercrown Maduro Coronet really didn’t do it for me. I was expecting something a bit special given the brand, but it ended up tasting more like a cheap cigar, maybe slightly better than a Hamlet, but not by much. I kept it in my humidor at 65%, and it smoked fine in terms of burn and draw, lasting about 10 - 15 minutes, but the flavour just wasn’t there.
It felt flat, a bit harsh, and nowhere near the quality I’ve had from other Drew Estate cigars. Honestly, it was the most disappointing one from them so far. I’d give it a 4/10, not completely awful, but a long way from what I’d hoped for. Definitely not one I’ll be rushing to buy again.
