The Regius Orchant Selección Nicaragua Robusto was a cigar made even more memorable by the company in which it was enjoyed. Having the opportunity to smoke it alongside Akhil Kapacee, at the C Gars Leeds sampler event, added an extra dimension to the experience. He came across as a humble, down-to-earth, and light-hearted individual whose genuine passion for cigars was immediately obvious. Rather than focusing on prestige or exclusivity, he spoke enthusiastically about introducing quality cigars to as wide an audience as possible, and that enthusiasm was infectious.
The cigar itself was equally enjoyable. On the cold draw, I picked up notes of cedar, earth, and a subtle natural sweetness. Once lit, it produced thick, creamy smoke with an effortless draw and an even burn that required very little attention. The opening third delivered flavours of toasted wood, soft peppery notes and roasted nuts, creating a balanced medium-bodied profile that was approachable without lacking character.

I am a "baby" cigar smoker and this was my second cigar I when I started smoking cigars a month ago.
I have to say that these are absolutely beautiful cigars and very well presented in the metal tin! I love the way they are already precut, saving you time and effort to get it right... I forgot to mention that the burn is quite good too as demonstrated in the pictures.
I came back to purchase more and thought I would leave a review here before doing so.

Kendal Dark Pipe Tobacco (Loose)

I have been smoking this for a few years now.
This has a very old fashioned feel to it and I think it’s meant to. “ Put that in your pipe and smoke it “is a saying that is very apt. I can imagine the working man from years ago doing just that. Ridiculously easy to pack and light up. This is also has a very refined and simple taste. Think , woody and nutty. Kendal Dark is a good quality tobacco, which should be of no surprise.
I can recommend this very highly.

Just picked this up as it's recommended as my first foray into pipe smoking from cigars. Gotta say, I really enjoyed this! My kids typically stay well away from me when I have a cigar, but they were intrigued by the room note, which is very sweet and definitely has lovely notes of cherry and vanilla. The taste is very mild and smooth compared to some of the cigars I have smoked, and it's a nice cool smoke too. It's a bit damp out the bag so was prone to relights, but I have been recommended to let it air out for about an hour before packing it, which will let it burn better and not go out as often. Will try that advice out the next time I get a chance to enjoy it. Now I have to try the nougat flavour as well as the American Delite, and then Autumn Evening by C&D!

I am new to cigars. I found this a pleasant smoke. It was quite a smooth very easy going taste from start to finish. It was just nice, nothing harsh or surprising. I would buy this cigar again for sure. I would also recommend this cigar as a first smoke, I found it pleasant and enjoyable as a new cigar smoker myself. I got about 25 minutes which was just right for me. I also smoke cigarettes so maybe I smoked this a little faster than others.

As should be obvious from the contents, this is very much a latakia forward blend. Super smoky campfire aroma and taste with hardly any sweetness fresh out the tin. A small amount of spice helps add some interest, and the ever so slight burnt taste is not unwelcome. For latakia lovers, this is a clear winner, and for those wanting to truly taste what latakia and oriental are. A little too much in the savoury side for me but I can't deny it would be perfect for others.
