Cusano Dominican Selection Corona Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 07 May, 2026
I really wanted to like this cigar. I thought i would sample a single stick before purchasing the bundle, I thought a corona sized Dominican long filler at this price point could be my daily smoke... Sadly it really struggled to be anything close to enjoyable. The cap was flaking before cut, and the burn was so inconsistent, that it became a task to manage. I couldn't relax with this cigar. the smoke was black and oily, and the draw a nightmare. without uk tax, this cigar can be found for around 3 euros in Germany, thats the only price i'll pay for another shot at this. Bought the Churchill vitola aswell which was so very slightly better but not by much.

So good I ordered more! so far a favourite of mine. Mild, smooth, creamy, nutty throughout. Construction and draw were spot on. A gateway into my love for Honduran tobacco. A must try !

Very enjoyable at certain points but overall it was bland, basic and very difficult to keep lit. the smoke output was disappointing, exterior construction was okay. much better options out there for the price.

Hiram & Solomon Grand Architect Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 07 May, 2026
Nice looking cigar, dry feeling but smooth leather brown wrapper, large, fairly unmistakable but good looking band...not exactly subtle though. Cut with a guillotine, draw was surprisingly tight, cigar felt evenly packed and didn't have and noticeable knots...nothing I could feel anyway, smoke output was thin due to the draw but cool. Burn wasn't razor sharp but it was even and needed zero corrections, ash held for days, had to tap at 1.5 inches as I didn't want to to wear it. Surprisingly very citrus forward initially, quite lemon heavy alongside some light roasted nut and leather, shifts to slightly sweet mixed spices alongside a continuation of roasted nut, finish is a touch of vanilla alongside drying leather and cedar. Medium body but zero strength throughout. Decent enough, great flavours but let down by the overly tight draw.
