Puffin Cigars - Chubby - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 19 January, 2026
My first Honduran cigar and a very pleased with it, I had a spare hour to fill and this was a great way to spend it! My biggest ring gauge yet and shortest, I ordered as a test to see what a short but larger ring gauge experience was like! Enjoyed throughout, very easy drag and flavours I couldn’t quite work out but nothing unpleasant! will definitely order again but would think about going longer in length as I found this was 45 min smoke and I was really enjoying it and didn’t want to end so quickly!

I got this as a try something new cigar and the system did well! I really enjoyed this cigar, I’ve only had probably 20 cigar but getting much more into them recently! but this one is by far my favourite so far, easy draw, held together perfectly, the ash stacked great and all 3 thirds brought me something new with this, all very pleasant experiences! will 100% order a couple more for my cigar box, for when I know I want a cigar but don’t want to risk trying something new, I know I will enjoy this time and time again! Have also recommended to a friend who has also now smoked and matched my opinion!

Leon Jimenes by La Aurora Petit Corona Bee (Honey) Cigar - 1 Single

I’m not the most seasoned cigar smoker, so details of my review won’t be the most in depth but to be honest this cigar was really good, the sweet taste on the lip after every drag! Really nice smoke, stayed together lovely, once lit stayed lit and burnt even! From the top to the bottom I got nice smoke and never got too much, the only reason it’s not 5 star is I wish they made a bigger one and the sweet honey taste wore off half way down but all in all, I really enjoyed it!

De Olifant Robusto Valentino Cigar - 1 Single

When rating this cigar, context is key. I was specifically hunting for an affordable 30 - 40 minute smoke to enjoy while walking the dog - something well-constructed and consistent. This machine-made stick, utilising long-filler tobacco (ideally with a touch of Cuban leaf), hits that brief perfectly. It consistently delivers exactly what I need for a casual outing, earning it a full five stars for its 'fitness for purpose.' My only minor critique is that the final third can leave the palate feeling a bit dry with a slightly ashy aftertaste. I’m curious to see if a few months in the humidor will smooth that out, but even as-is, I will certainly be restocking. The search for the ultimate cheap long-filler continues, but for now, this is my reliable go-to.

Drew Estate Factory Smokes Maduro Toro Cigar - 1 Single

I received this cigar as part of the Try Something New mystery cigar offer and it offers very good value for money. The dark wrapper has an appealing appearance and, overall, construction was decent. It was, however, let down slightly by a lack of consistency, with a few soft spots noticeable along the length. The draw was very good straight after first light, which is worth noting as cigars of this size can often smoke on the tight side. The first third was pleasant and approachable, delivering earthy flavours alongside some leather and a light touch of pepper. As the cigar moved into the second third, it developed some enjoyable hazelnut notes. These flavours were not entirely consistent, coming and going rather than remaining firmly established, but were welcome when present. In the final third a slight bitterness did appear, though nothing overpowering, and the cigar remained perfectly smokeable right to the end. Overall, this is a solid value cigar and I’m glad I gave this Drew Estate cigar a go. It is not something I would regularly reach for, but it did exactly what t
