Plasencia Reserva Original Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 17 May, 2026
First time trying any Plasencia cigar. Went to the Chester store and was advised to try one. Really nice dry draw very sweet straight away.Little messy after me cutting the cigar a bit too short with my guillotine cutter. But the cigar held really well after that. Good smoke output.Lots of different flavours but still trying to sort my palate out so couldn’t quite get them all. Very creamy and sweet in parts and I think I got vanilla in there to. Price not bad. Altogether a decent light smoke.

Aladino Cameroon Queens Perfecto Cigar - 1 Single

Very mild to my pallet not giving alot of testing notes past Cedar/lightly nutty throughout, alittle tight but not overly tight and needed light maintenance to maintain an even burn in the form of plenty of rotation and occasional touch up with the lighter Not a cigar I will be stocking my personal humidor with anytime soon even though it's a perfectly fine cigar it just doesn't suit my palette.

Luis Martinez Tres Petit Corona - 1 Single

Given the mixed reviews I wasn't expecting too much but I was pleasantly surprised. This is a very mild and smooth flavoured stick with plenty of smoke, a medium strength and subtle aroma. It paired perfectly with my Sunday morning coffee on the balcony in the sun. The final 3rd developed some faint savoury nutty notes. It burns a little fast but still impressive for the price.

Ramon Allones Small Club Corona Cigar - 1 Single

A truly lovely cigar pretty much across the board. Lightning took a little while even with a double jet cigar lighter. Which I was dumbstruck by if I’m honest. However, once lit the draw an flavour were first class. Not too funky so good for every occasion and the tightness of the role made it last for as long as I wanted it too.

Beauriful cigar, I had it as "try something new". I really enjoyed it, from the get go when I lit it, construction, burning line, smoke and flavour was spot on, the retro was a bit spicy at start but becomes smooth and flavoury from the second third. Creamy, sweet and nutty with a nice buz feeling. I wasn't expecting this level of quality and complexity, tbh. Easily smoked it for 80 mins but I had to torch it again in the last third. Smoked it to the nub and I even abused the nub. I'd gladly add it to my weekend smokes; I highly recommend it. Worth a trial.

Fribourg & Treyer Wingate Mixture Pipe Tobacco - 50g Tin
Date Added: Saturday 16 May, 2026
This is just an ok all day very mild blend. Just be aware when reading the notes description , there is no way this should be compared to Presbyterian in any way whatsoever . I didn't discern any latakia at all and as far as perique is concerned , it's very faint in the background . Overall it just lacks the flavour profile of other blends , such as the very good 34th mixture by Fribourg and Treyer .
