Plasencia Reserva Original Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Friday 10 July, 2026
What a beauty. Maybe draw and burn is not as good as other premium sticks but flavour is up there! Sweet creamy buttery undertones. In my experience the robusto smokes a bit better than the piramide. I believe this is box worthy.

Mitchellero Peru Petit Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Friday 10 July, 2026
Smoked this last night in the back garden - construction wise, it was flawless, easy V-cut, no tears/cracks or damage. The burn was pretty smooth, with one touch-up required, and one relight, which was my fault entirely. Easy draw, and the ash held very well, with a nice pyramid when it eventually came off an inch+ later. The aroma was quite nice, and the overall flavour was nutty and woody. I also got some coffee notes, but no chocolate like others described, however I am new to cigars and my palate isn't fantastic at the best of times. The spice got progressively stronger, particularly in the final third, which was very pleasant. Burned just over an hour for me as I am quite slow, and definitely on the medium side, as I didn't get particularly light headed which is still common for me as a newbie. Lots of smoke from the draw, but the cigar itself doesn't actually put out a lot of smoke by itself. Would I buy again? Probably. I am still trying as many cigars as I can to work out what my preferences are so am buying new cigars all the time, but this will be shortlisted to

Chinchalero Picadillos Cigar - 1 Single

Very underwhelming cigar. The flavour was a bit one dimensional, although pleasant. It did get better in the second half of the cigar but then a crack appeared under the band. Not a split in the wrapper, it looked like it had ripped at the seams. Couldn't draw any more smoke through so that was that. It could have just been a bad cigar, but I won't buy another to find out.

Plasencia Reserva Original Robusto Cigar - 1 Single

This was the first cigar that made me think "omg, this is amazing. I am definitely a cigar guy" and started my love for cigars. I then explored many other cigars and was scared to come back to this one in case it wasnt the same. However, it did not disappoint and reignited my love for cigars. Chris from the Liverpool shop advised "this is how ever cigar should taste" and he's not wrong. Really lovely natural sweetness, cedar. Nothing offensive at all, some cheap cigars just taste like a campfire type of smoke. This was something else. Even the texture of the smoke was silky smooth. And of course impeccable construction.

American Blends CC Blend (Formerly Coffee Caramel) Pipe Tobacco (Loose)
Date Added: Tuesday 07 July, 2026
A very tasty blend with predominantly caramel at the beginning and milky coffee as a background note. Can get quite bitter towards the very end but stays lit and almost no tongue bite, even with bigger draws. Room note is exceptional and even gained a compliment from my long suffering wife! Not my favourite of the American aromatics from G&H but that's only because they're all so good.

Kendal Black Irish XXX Pipe Tobacco (Loose)

Best cut with a cigar cutter into thin slices then rubbed out. This is a definite full on smoke. I found it like a slightly burnt steak served on a leather motorcycle seat. Smoked cool, and stayed lid even when packed a touch wet. The room note will most likely leave you with very few friends, and those that remain are likely induct you into a 1% outlaw motorcycle gang. Of course that could all simply be a dream from the very strong nicotine that will knock you out if you overdo it. Lovely stuff.
