Davidoff Winston Churchill Traveller Belicoso Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 02 November, 2025
Sadly I didn't have a good experience with this cigar. The draw was very tight, which surprised me for a Davidoff as they are known for their quality control. I tried my Perfect Draw tool to improve the draw but this did little to help. I had to relight three times but had to give up in the end. I've smoked a few Davidoff cigars and have always had a good experience with them so I must have just got a bad one this time!

Joya de Nicaragua Cinco De Cinco Robusto Cigar - 1 Single

This is a fantastic after dinner cigar. Chocolate is the primary tasting note with hints of brown sugar and cinnamon. Im not really a fan of the box pressed format but that didn't take away from the experience. Its a medium to full body strength with a deliciously complex flavour profile. A perfect way to round off a tough week.

I am just getting back into cigars after many years away. This cigar gave me the perfect balance between usability and a most pleasant smoke. It lit well, had an easy draw, a wonderful aroma and taste. No idea how long it took to smoke because I was lost in the moment. Smoked the same all the way down. I'm too new to cigars to perhaps appreciate or notice the subtle change in flavours as it develops. However, my experience was one of joy. Now, a note on usability. This could well have been user error: I made a simple V cut and the end seemed loose. Indeed, in removing a stray flake of wrapper the whole thing unravelled and fell off. I don't know if the cigar was too dry or I'm simply an incompetent fool. Likely the latter. Having said that the cigar structure stayed firm. I opened up the draw end to a full cut. Maybe I missed out on the flavour the wrapper would've brought. And maybe the smoke would've lasted long, although it was long enough. Even so, my experience was not marred and I only want to further my journey. Cigar smoking is more than just smoking;

Gurkha Cellar Reserve 12 Year Old Solara Cigar - 1 Single

I was really looking forward to smoking this cigar but unfortunately I was bitterly disappointed. From the moment I straight cut it and lit it, it started to unravel from both ends. The cigar was dry as a bone despite being kept in my humidifier at 70%. Had to abandon it half way through as it became unsmokable. Probably just unlucky as I purchased due to the other positive reviews

Perdomo 10th Anniversary Connecticut Robusto Cigar - 1 Single

There is a lot of hype surrounding this cigar. It's a beautiful looking stick. A lovely golden shade wrapper, rolled perfectly, providing an even burn and consistent smoke. There was a very feint sweet almond flavour but that is the only tasting note I could pick up. Unfortunately, I found it to be disappointing at this price range. You can get a Conquistador for less than half the price with the exact same flavour profile.

The Mystery Cigar What a great surprise! When I saw the option to add a Mystery Cigar to my order for £10, I couldn’t resist pressing “Enter.” When the package arrived, I was buzzing with excitement to unpack it. The cigar was packed separately, and even though I was tired from the week, I decided to spend the early evening enjoying it with my favourite Boulevardier cocktail. I had kept it outside my humidor since receiving it—I've found that letting cigars rest at room temperature for 24–36 hours often brings out a better flavour than smoking them straight from the humidor. Every time I held it, I wondered where it was made. The vitola was just the style I prefer: long and not too thick, around a corona gorda size. I measured it at 6¾ inches by 46 ring gauge and 14.9g in weight. The construction was impressive—firm, smooth, and wrapped in a beautiful colorado claro leaf with a double cap and a classy look. The cold draw didn’t reveal much beyond a dry, grassy character typical of Cuban or Dominican blends. The first third offered a mild mix of grassy and mineral notes with a
