I received the Blackbird Crow as last month’s mystery cigar, so only paid £10 for it. Burned really well from the get go. Really enjoyed the first 2 thirds, but became a little bitter during the last third. Took me 75 minutes to smoke, overall. Plenty of smoke and flavour and I paired it with a large glass of Leiper’s Fork bourbon. Not sure I’d pay the £17.50 standard price but was impressed for the price I paid.

Revor Plug Pipe Tobacco - 10g Sample

Good old no nonsense honest to god old faithful pipe tobacco. Yes it's a bit of a pain to get going, despite being an easy plug to work with but this is well worth the effort. It's not gonna blow your socks off with flavour, but it's not gonna leave you disappointed either. Thick plumes of smoke, a deep rich flavour, and enough interest to keep you coming back. It's hard to give it a full 5 stars as nothing stands out, but I could see easily see myself smoking this and nothing else. So 5 stars it is.

I was against this cigar as i purchased it, possibly because of the shop and settings (low options, felt forced). Had very low expectations. However, I was very pleasantly surprised by this cigar. second half/final third especially was creamy, nutty, hints of spice. I have had flashbacks of its flavour. I would have recommended this as a daily go-to stick but I know think there are better options for similar price. Still, was much better than expected and actually a very nice cigar.

Savinelli Aroma Pipe Tobacco 50g Tin

Smells delicious out the tin. Vanilla, cheesecake, creamy goodness. However, smoke is a bit artificial tasting. Its light and smooth. maybe too light. The flavour has an artificial tone that adds some harshness. I prefer connoisseur's choice. Very similar, bit more boozy and a bit less artificial tasting. Although both tobaccos have left me looking for something still creamy but more natural, and stronger.

Tried one of these whilst out in Central. Flavour wise I have had better, but still very good. However build, burn and draw was immaculate. I think one of the most 'professional' feel cigars I have tasted so far. I now understand the hype around the brand's tobacco growing/aging process. Left me wanting to try out more Perdomos for sure.

Initially grabbed a single from store whilst out. Very crisp sharp yet smooth flavour. Creamy, spicy, kind of floral tones. Excellent smoke was an absolute pleasure, especially for the price. Had to grab a box online. I think the box came really fresh. Does not have the crisp sharpness about it yet. Hoping to capture the same first experience after some aging. Very good value cigar!
