Arturo Fuente Don Carlos No. 4 Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 07 May, 2020
Medium strength cigar with no bitterness. First third was coffee and chocolate becoming richer toward the end but very well balanced, smoked perfectly for the entire length - no retouches, good ash, very well made. Definitely one to return to.

Jose L Piedra Cazadores Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 07 May, 2020
Very bumpy and green mottled wrapper. Very light in weight and very free flowing draw, maybe a bit too open but nice mild taste if a little dry - more rich tea than digestive. Very even burn no relights required. Very good value - a good box filler.

Cohiba Robustos Tubed Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 07 May, 2020
Well what a disappointment! I had been saving this for a special occasion as this was so far my most expensive single cigar purchase. So I saved it for my Silver Wedding Anniversary. Unfortunately the big day/night it was impossible to draw. I tried everything - it lit, but nothing was coming through, it was impossibly tight. So I put it out and picked up a Partagas D instead. The next day I went back to my Cohiba and after some very careful poking with a cocktail stick I managed to get some flow - but it was burnt tasting and bitter - so I had to throw it away. By far my worst cigar experience - I have a Cohiba Siglo II to try so I am hoping that will give me an idea of what the fuss is about, but this Robustos was un-smokable.

Brick House Double Connecticut Short Torpedo Cigar - 1 Single

Fantastic cigar. The prelight was sweet on the lips with wonderful flavours. A mild cigar with plenty of cedar flavours and a touch of fragrant white spice. Very free drawing with only 3 drops on the ash. A thoroughly enjoyable, great smoke from beginning to very end.

Very sweet and quite mild with a touch of white spice. Tough to draw at the start, but very well made, no unraveling, very firm cigar. Short ash. Lovely mild but spicy smoke

Corn Cob Legend 690 6mm Filter Bent Pipe
Date Added: Wednesday 06 May, 2020
I was very favourably impressed with this inexpensive pipe. I must admit that, in my skinflint way, I bought it with the idea of smoking my cigar stubs. In this office it performed beautifully, although Ive yet to try it with proper tobacco. It draws easily and smokes straight through without re-lighting. In my previous flirtation, twenty years ago, with considerably more expensive pipes, I found the bowl became too hot to hold. The bowl of this pipe assumes only a comforting warmth. A great little pipe at the price.
