Not a fan Im afraid! A very offputting bitter taste on the lips, which was very much present in the smoke as well. Very well constructed, with a good firm ash, but very reluctant on the draw, taking three or four full puffs to obtain a decent mouthful. The bitterness persisted through the first two thirds, at which point I gave up.

Davidoff are probably the best New World cigars on the market.
Grassy flavours and plenty of creamy smoke.
Although a beautiful addition to any Humidor, this one wasn’t for me.
As with all Davidoff’s, the construction, wrapper and taste was perfect as usual.
But for me, personally, I’m spoiled by the beautiful Escurio range and The Late Hour Robusto’s and this just does not live up to either of them.
It’s not saying this is a bad cigar at all.
It’s an earthy, sweet and creamy smoke but not something I’d revisit.
A perfect addition to any humidor, just not mine.
Another reviewer said he felt like a million dollars holding this cigar and he’s right. The wrapper, the cigar and the label just screams class and beauty. As always, Cgars services and care for delivery was outstanding.

Bought this cigar in amongst some Bolivars, I’ve been looking for a decent robusto maduro that didn’t break the bank all I can say is YES!
Mission accomplished, fantastic cigar that lasted an hour and had a great evolution of taste, fantastic construction with a even burn will be buying a box of five in my next order!

Regius Robusto Cigar - 1 Single

I started looking at cigars during the lockdown, pass the time away with a nice smoke with my whisky. I wanted a cigar that would not be harsh and after reading a couple of reviews I went for Regius Robusto Cigar. Opening the packet I could smell a hint of chocolate. The smoke lasted for 30mins

I got this in my June subscription, and the construction looks really nice. Nice wrapper, very tight mind.
The ash held really well.
I didnÂ’t have any burn issues or need for relighting.
The flavours were lovely, IÂ’m no aficionado in any respect but I love good cigars, but it was a really lovely smoke. It lasted just shy of an hour. It certainly got more flavoursome towards the end.
The aroma was lovely and it had a lot of smoke and I didnÂ’t have any draw issues.
I kept mine in the humidor for a month and IÂ’m pleasantly happy with, though no a favourite. But, I might revisit this cigar again in the future.

Very easy mild and mellow smoke. Reminiscent of a Davidoff- but just not quite as smooth. But very enjoyable and well worth the money. Excellent construction and very easy burn. Ash holds well and no bitterness. Perfect morning smoke with a danish and coffee.
