New and nice I would say!. Construction is sound and the burn is nice and easy with a good hint of spice on the palate. This is the first of these new types from C.Gars and I shall work my way through the rest and report back. Over the years I have taken to using a punch for most cigars now as it more than forgives my hamfisted ways that have seen many a good cigar ruined I am expecting that this range might end up burning a bit hot but, to date, this one was/is fine.

Guantanamera Cristales Cigar - 1 Single

This is a great cigar especially for the money. The size is perfect especially if your looking for a classy classic appearance. The flavour is fairly mild with no over all particular notes but very pleasant. I do have to say that the draw is quite light and airflow could be much better, this does slightly effects the experience but not a major annoyance, more of a personal opinion. The cigar smokes for around 45 minutes for to an hour which is lovely but the burn is a bit uneven. Overall this cigar is amazing and the drawbacks are minimal. I highly recommend.

This was very much a cigar of two halves. The opening 10 minutes seemed fairly bland and whilst there was certainly nothing terrible about it, I was expecting more. The flavours were almost too mild to pick up on which was slightly disappointing. However as I moved passed half way the cigar definitely changed for the better. It remained mild but became smoother and better in every way. Flavours came through and it really improved as the minutes ticked by. The final few moments were excellent and I felt myself wanting to apologise to what was left of this cigar. You cant lose sight of the price and expectations need to be in keeping with what you pay. This isnt a bad buy at all if you like something mild. The burn was very even and the draw was spot on throughout. All in all it was a nice smoke at this price point.

Just when I thought the Mitchellero couldn’t get any better, they then release this beauty. Very pleasant and even burn, no need for a touch up, easy to smoke with more depth of flavour. Excellent value for money!
