I am surprised that no one has reviewed this yet. The 1st 3rd is spice bomb on the retro hale but accompanied by a natural sweetness with tones of leather and coco. 2nd 3rd is very smooth with basically no spice on the retro hale and the leather and coco tones become even more pronounced. The final 3rd is similar but with some coffee tones coming through too. The burn and construction is absolutely perfect. I think this cigar is now one of top 5.

My favourite filters, I typically change after 2 full bowls, but can stretch to 3 in a pinch, 4 is pushing it

First thing I noticed was the smell being a little different to other batches: very mildly perfumey or "soap"-like. HOWEVER, don't be deterred by the smell as this your quintessential Balkan Mixture in taste and exactly what I was hoping for. A nice clean Virginia & Latakia blend, nothing like the smell. Regardless, the aforementioned scents vanished with in a day. I think I actually prefer Balkan MIXTURE to Balkan Flake, in fact. The taste seems a little more pronounced, consistent, and not to mention infectious. I can't put it down lol. This is a regular buy for me, and definitely my most smoked blend overall. Five stars ten-out-of-ten c'est tres delicieux!

Really struggled with this one. It went out 3 times
And it felt soggy as if it was wet. The flavours were just full on spice and sour notes, really green in fact. I would be willing to try again at this price point but i think they need some time in the humidor to mature as the spice is very very strong.

I have tried a few cavalier Geneve black label 2 the torpedo is usually my favourite cigar to smoke but I tried this lancero and it's my favourite cigar of all time. The draw was perfect for me. Nice amount of smoke. Even burn. Nice white ash. Taste is subjective but I really enjoyed this cigar. Might even get a case I was that impressed. I smoked this in under an hour easily and the taste for me changed only a touch in thr last 3rd. Probably last quarter and not in a bad way. Just seemed to be a little more spice. (I won't use the posh references because I can't ever taste what others seem to)

First time trier of this last week and sadly didn?t enjoy it at all,bitter taste on my pallet
draw not great either for me,nope definite won?t be going near this one again.
