Dark, smokey, rich and just a touch rough. If you like that description then you'll like this blend. It has a definite no nonsense no frills taste that you smoke when you want a heavy hitter and couldn't care less what anyone else thinks. Thankfully no floral taste to be had here so the true dark fired leaves take centre stage without interruption. No idea why it's called Coniston, possibly the steam gondola, but it's one of my favourite places in the world so this earns an extra star for that.

A wonderful cigar ! My grandfather Lavender Hutchinson started in the business with Alfred Dunhill so I grew up with fine Havana cigars . These Orchant selection Alidindo

Very light cigar in the first half, smoked well and really nice flavours of woods and spices. It got more into the mild area as I got down it with some pepper and herbs coming in towards the finish. The wrapped did crack but was still very smokeable. I got this as a mystery cigar but would buy again if the price is closer to the £13 - £14 mark

My wife's favourite cigar as she prefers a lighter cigar to me but still likes to enjoy the smoking experience with me
It lit very easily with a slight background Cuban twang with a few floral notes it stayed lit and burnt evenly but I preferred the fonseca range with has more pronounced floral notes but still a good cheap light Cuban cigar for the price especially with prices nowadays

The Trident Military Cigars The Bren Robusto was an enjoyable cigar overall and one that I found to be particularly approachable. From the very first few puffs, this cigar offered a very mild and easy-going smoke, making it a good choice for anyone who prefers a more relaxed smoking experience. It never felt too strong or overpowering, and the mild profile allowed me to sit back and enjoy the cigar without being overwhelmed by heavy or intense flavours.
Throughout most of the smoke, The Bren Robusto remained pleasant and smooth. The flavours were subtle rather than overly complex, which suited the mild nature of the cigar well. I found it to be an easy cigar to smoke at a relaxed pace, and it would be especially suitable for someone who is newer to cigars or for an experienced smoker looking for something light and uncomplicated.
The main issue I experienced was with the construction. Around halfway through the cigar, the wrapper started to unravel. This was disappointing, as it did affect the overall experience slightly and required a bit more attention while smoking. Although

4th blend I have ever tried as a new pipe smoker, and my first non-Aromatic. Very nice! Far more similar to a cigar in the lack of the Aromatic room note, and more in the way of a natural tobacco. Definitely sweet and creamy, woody, and pleasant overall. Very mild too, so I could probably enjoy this without even having to have a meal beforehand. Definitely worthy of getting a tin and to keep as a staple. Only downside I can think of is that the room note is less pleasant for non-smokers.
