I thought I would wait a few months after purchase before reviewing this humidor. I can now say unequivocally that this is a very good humidor. I have had 3 x 60g 65% boveda packs in this since August. Now 4 months later and the humidy has stayed consistently between 67 and 67.5%. The 65% boveda packs are almost perfect and don't seem to have lost much moisture. This tells me that the seal on this humidor and overall build quality is very impressive. I get between 70 and 80 cigars into it consisting of a mix of sizes but mainly toro and robusto. For the £200 - £300 mark you will not get better than this in my opinion. It looks like my boveda packs will last 6 - 9 months in this humidor which is crazy!

50 minute smoke time with flavours of Earth, Wood and a hint of spice.
Bands came away with no issues and the burn line was decent with no touch ups needed.
Smoked to the nub where it was just a lovely easy smoke with fuller flavours of the same with plumes of satisfying smoke.

This for me was a 70 minute smoke with no issues, even burn and decent amount of smoke all the way to the nub.
Flavours I got where woody, earthy with some spice and a good amount of smoke.
Will keep a couple in my humidor and see what they are like in a few months time.

I'm easing my way back into cigars after a on/off 10 year hiatus. I don't smoke anymore so they sort of fell to the wayside and bar a few sticks in holiday over the years I've not really indulged. Since the price of Cubans has gone up quite a lot in the last 10 years I decided to dip my toe in the 'New World' arena of smokes. This cigar was my first try and I was very pleasantly surprised. First off, clearly been stored perfectly. It was springy yet firm to the touch and smelt great. On first light it was quite bitter and I could tell that there was an underlying flavour there but the bitterness was rather over powering. However, after about 5 mins the cigar completely changed and became almost toffee/caramel tasting and really got better the further down I smoked it. The last third was powerful and rich, very woody with hints of earth and tasted like I was smoking nature, which was incredible. I have another one with the darker wrapper which I'll have at a party next week. I only hope it is as good.

As much as I hate to leave a negative review, because until this purchase, CGars products have been faultless. Unfortunately this is not the case for this cutter.
Now I know it’s a cheap cutter, but it should still be fit for purpose.
I bought this as a way to try a V cut, but sadly, all this did was ruin the end of my cigar.
The cut was ragged, barely formed a ‘V’ and also cracked the wrapper, creating a less than satisfactory smoking experience.
My advice, avoid this and spend a little more if you want to try a V cut.

Smoked via a punch cut.
Very easy draw, and burnt well.
Quite Peppery on the lips, and lots of lovely sweet smoke, not bitter at all, which I have found with some other cheap cigars.
Lasted an hour.
Excellent value for money.
Will definitely be buying these again.
