thought i would try this as really liking the linea retro rang with hoyo and hupmann versions becoming a regular favourite-this was very nice quite light like the other versions but not as much cuban twang as the others so will stick to the others in linea retro range-only partagas left to try now

Just wow, what a cigar, I don’t normally buy based of reviews but glad I did this time, got to be one of the best smokes I’ve had, if I had to compare it to anything it would be the EP carillo pledge

I really enjoyed this cigar. Construction was 10/10 perfect draw and even burn line through out. Cold draw had nutty sweet flavour. Aroma of this cigar is very nice. It has a leather and nutty flavour with dark cacao undertones. It is very good. I did smoked 2 of this cigars second one was better after a month in humidor made it better. That said first one was very good too 9/10. I'll need to try a bigger format but definitely recommend this one to anyone very good cigar

Amazing draw, smoke, and even burn. It is a mild cigar, with notes of cedar, leather and vanilla. Great ash and very well made. Will probably buy a box and age them if I don’t smoke them!

I have to agree with Chris — this isn’t just a cigar, it’s a turning point. The first time I smoked one, I genuinely felt my standards shift. It’s that rare kind of experience that quietly resets your palate and makes you realise what you’ve been settling for before. The richness, the depth, the flawless progression… it’s on a completely different level.
Since smoking this, I can’t look at average cigars the same way. They just don’t satisfy anymore. There’s something about the balance and smooth power that feels refined — almost indulgent. Lighting one up feels less like having a cigar and more like stepping into a different tier entirely.
It sounds dramatic, but it genuinely changes how you feel sitting there with it. There’s a certain confidence that comes with smoking something of this calibre. It’s not about showing off — it’s just knowing you’re experiencing something most people never will.
Chris said it best — this is one you buy, then wish you’d bought a cabinet of. Once you understand it, you can’t go back.

Not to my personal taste, rather too bitter.
Uneven burn throughout, requiring constant touch ups to little effect. Too much of a struggle to be enjoyable.
