Davidoff Winston Churchill The Late Hour Petit Panetela Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 08 October, 2025
The Davidoff Winston Churchill The Late Hour Petit Panetela is easily one of my favourites, maybe even the favourite so far. It’s a beautifully made cigar that lasts me about 25 minutes, though I might just be a slow smoker. It’s become my go to night time cigar, perfect for those quiet moments before bed while I’m letting the dog out. The flavour is rich and refined without being too heavy, and it stays smooth right to the end. I used a shallow V-cut, which worked perfectly, though a straight cut also does the job. With a steady rhythm, around 30 to 45 seconds between draws, it smokes cool all the way down to the nub. A great little cigar for winding down at the end of the day, and one I’ll always keep a few of in the humidor.

Mitchellero Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 07 October, 2025
I purchased this cigar based on the reviews and have to say I was not disappointed. This was a well constructed cigar that burned clean and straight with plenty of smoke. A mild cigar it was a very pleasant smoke which lasted me approximately 60mins. I will be purchasing more!

Cohiba Shorts Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 07 October, 2025
The Cohiba Shorts were alright, but I’ll be honest, I was expecting a bit more. Maybe it’s because I’d really enjoyed the Cohiba Minis and had high hopes for these, but they didn’t quite hit the same mark for me. The flavour was fine, just nothing that really stood out or made me want another straight away. They’re not bad by any means, just a bit underwhelming considering the name on the box. I actually prefer the Minis by a long way, they’ve got that sweet, satisfying edge that these seem to lack. Still, worth trying once to see for yourself, but for me, the Minis remain the clear winner.

Gurkha Fat Boy Robusto Gordo Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 06 October, 2025
1st third was a great spice taste, slight after taste of aniseed. Plumes of white smoke throughout and ash held nicely into the 2nd 3rd.. bringing a nice transition into a deep rich coffee/ dark chocolate taste with the final 3rd mellowing out with just beautiful peppery finish.. i used a punch cut on this 60 guage beast, and tbh this is by far the strongest I've smoked for sure as it knocked me for six, and im still new to this world .. would I buy again, once the 2nd one is gone from my stash... damn straight... a good 50min smoke and that was me not taking it easy on it.. no relights, great burn..a solid cigar with superb draw from start to finish..Easy a good 1hr plus cigar if you took your time with it

Casa Carrillo La Historia El Senador Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 06 October, 2025
Good God I underestimated how strong this was going to be. I'm still a beginner but thought I'd built up at least a bit of tolerance to nicotine - boy was I mistaken. Got a very bad case of nicotine sickness shortly after finishing it and still feeling slightly unwell the next day. That being said, the draw was perfect and the burn was very even with an ash that fell off consistently after about 3cm. Doesn't burn particularly hot but doesn't go out easily on its own either. Middle of the cigar became quite squishy halfway through. Here's what it was like flavour-wise: 1st third Quite mild which slowly turns into strong sweetness/sugariness 2nd third Sugariness still dominates but overall flavour gets bolder and earthier with hints of strong coffee. Some spice here and there. Final third Sugariness continues but almost becomes a sort of sugary spice. Very bold. Finishes with strong mintiness right to the end. Overall, for me, it wasn't as mind-blowing flavour-wise as is made out. It was certainly very nice and definitely had some complexity

J. Cortes High Class Sumatran Cigar - Blue - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 06 October, 2025
The J. Cortes High Class Sumatran Blue Tubed is a really nice smoke, my favourite from the range so far. Smooth flavour, consistent burn, and a good balance of strength and sweetness. I’d rate it a solid 8/10. It’s reasonably priced too, so mixing up a few from the same line now and then feels like good value without sacrificing quality. It lasted a fair while and was enjoyable right to the end, though it did get a bit hot and burnt my lips towards the finish, probably my fault for pushing it too far. I’ve since learnt these can stay in their tubes for up to a year, so next time I’ll just leave it in there rather than popping it in the humidor. A lovely, easy-going cigar that I’ll definitely keep in rotation.
