The Rocky Patel Vintage 1990 Broadleaf has quickly become one of my favourites for a shorter smoke. It lasts me about 25-30 minutes, and every time I light one up it feels like I’ve carved out half an hour of pure peace from the world. The flavour is rich and smooth, with that trademark broadleaf sweetness and depth that makes it stand out from a lot of other cigars in this size. I use a V-cut, and it works perfectly, giving me an easy draw the whole way through.
I’ve found that a bit of dry boxing (about 8 hours outside the humidor) really brings out the flavours and keeps the burn cooler. Straight out of my 69% humidor, it tended to run a little hot and even burnt my lips once, so the dry boxing makes a huge difference for me personally. For me, this cigar isn’t just a smoke, it’s a proper little ritual. When I’m standing there with it, the half-hour just feels like heaven.
If you’re after a short smoke that still feels like something special, this one’s tough to beat. And a great price too.

I really enjoyed this one! I have smoked a few Plasencia cigars now and this one is right up there with my favourites. I am not an expert at picking up flavours, but there were definite sweet notes at the start which progressed to woodiness as I got to the final smoke. As usual, the construction was excellent! I am definitely going to get a few more of these.

This is one of my favourite once a week cigar, is smooth, creamy.
The flavor here is quite mild and generic, though a thick, subtle sweetness comes out on occasion. I could make the case for some sort of bakery staple such as a cake donut or coffee cake as the most recognizable, though again, it’s pretty mild.
It is reliable and consistent.

This is one of the most interesting pipes I’ve tried and I would have to say for the price it’s not to bad. It has a good draw and very easy to clean and change the filter. Also if you don’t want to spend to much money and you want to get a pipe I would recommend this one as it’s perfect for beginners

Conquistador Corona Cigar - 1 Single

The Conquistador Natural Corona is a hand rolled Nicaraguan cigar that gives you that classic “proper cigar” feel without a big price tag. Mine lasted around 45 minutes, burning fairly evenly, and I’d call it a mild to medium smoke personally, smooth enough not to overwhelm, but with just enough earthy flavour and a touch of woodiness to keep it from being bland. Nothing flashy or complicated, just a steady, reliable cigar that feels like good value for money. It comes as a single loose stick, so it’s easy to try without needing to commit to a whole box.
For me it felt like a standard cigar experience, and I gave it a 7/10, I’d happily buy it again, especially as an everyday option when I want a longer smoke that won’t knock me out. Definitely one for someone who wants to dip into Nicaraguan cigars without spending a fortune.

Bought 10 on a 'flash sale' and got 2 free, purely to take a chance on them. I absolutely love these chunky little sticks! For the money they burn really evenly and well and for me the taste is great ( I always think the taste is subjective to each individual).
I love the 60 ring gauge and aways want them to last longer! Will definitely buy again
