Rocky Patel Seed to Smoke Shade Toro Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 04 September, 2025
The Rocky Patel Seed to Smoke Shade Toro is a big cigar that lasted me well over an hour. Smooth and creamy thanks to the shade wrapper, with an even burn and easy draw the whole way through. It feels like a high quality stick but still offers great value for money, making it a solid choice when you’ve got the time to sit back and enjoy.

Alec Bradley Orchant Seleccion Shorty Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 03 September, 2025
The Alec Bradley Orchant Selección was an interesting one for me. I’ve heard a lot about Alec Bradley cigars, and this particular collaboration blend felt like a good introduction. Right away, I noticed earthy notes with cedar and a bit of sweetness, almost like molasses. The construction was very good—solid draw, steady burn, and plenty of smoke output. Midway through, I picked up more cocoa and spice, which gave it a richer character. It’s medium-bodied overall, making it approachable but not boring. The flavors were balanced, though I wouldn’t say they blew me away. What I liked most was the smoothness—it never became harsh, and I was able to enjoy it at a relaxed pace. Toward the final third, the spice kicked up a little more, along with some nutty flavors, which gave it a satisfying finish. For me, this cigar felt dependable and enjoyable, though maybe not as memorable as some of the other brands I’ve tried. Still, it’s a solid choice and one I’d recommend to someone looking to explore Alec Bradley without diving straight into their stronger blends. Rating: 7/10

Mitchellero Sporty Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 03 September, 2025
The Mitchellero Sporty was a straightforward smoke that felt very much like an everyday kind of cigar. It’s small and quick, which makes it convenient, but it doesn’t deliver the same depth as some of the larger formats. Flavor-wise, it’s earthy and woody with just a touch of pepper, but it stays fairly one-dimensional throughout. The draw was a bit tight on the one I smoked, though still manageable. The burn was mostly even, and the ash held on better than I expected for a smaller cigar. This isn’t a complex or fancy smoke, but I can see it being handy for situations where you don’t have time for a full robusto or corona. It has a rustic charm, but compared to the Mitchellero Robusto, it felt a little underwhelming. The strength is mild-to-medium, so it’s easy enough for a beginner to handle, though it doesn’t really deliver the same satisfaction as some of the other cigars I’ve tried. Overall, I’d say it works as a casual or quick smoke, but it wouldn’t be my first choice if I had more time. Rating: 6/10

H. Upmann Coronas Major Tubed Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 03 September, 2025
The H. Upmann Major Coronas felt like a really classic Cuban experience for me. Right from the start, there was that signature smoothness—cedar, light spice, and a creamy texture that made it very approachable. The draw was just right, offering a steady flow of aromatic smoke. Flavor-wise, it had a nice balance of wood, earth, and a touch of nuttiness. About halfway through, I noticed a floral note along with some sweetness that kept things interesting. The burn line wasn’t perfect, but it corrected itself without much effort. What stood out most was how refined it felt—everything was in harmony, with no harshness or bitterness. Compared to some of the stronger Nicaraguan smokes I’ve tried, this felt more subtle and elegant, though still full of character. By the final third, the flavors deepened, with more earth and spice, but it never lost its smoothness. This cigar gave me a real sense of Cuban tradition and why brands like H. Upmann are so respected. I’d definitely keep a few of these on hand for when I want something classic and dependable. Rating: 8/10

Flor De Oliva Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 03 September, 2025
The Flor de Oliva was a pleasant surprise, considering it’s one of the more budget-friendly cigars I’ve come across. Right away, it delivered a nice balance of flavors: earthy, slightly sweet, with touches of cedar and nuts. The construction wasn’t flawless—there were a couple of uneven burn issues—but overall it smoked much better than I expected at this price. The draw was easy, producing plenty of smoke, which made it enjoyable to puff on. About halfway through, I noticed a more pronounced sweetness, almost like caramel, mixed with a bit of spice. It’s not overly complex, but it doesn’t feel boring either. The strength is medium, making it approachable for someone like me still learning what I like. Toward the end, it picked up a little more body, with more wood and spice, though it never got harsh. This cigar feels like a great daily option—affordable enough not to worry about, but flavorful enough to keep you interested. It’s not in the same league as some of the premium cigars I’ve tried, but it definitely punches above its weight. Rating: 7/10

Joya de Nicaragua Antano CT Toro Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 03 September, 2025
The Joya Antaño Robusto is probably the strongest cigar I’ve tried so far, and it definitely taught me to respect full-bodied smokes. Right off the bat, there’s a hit of black pepper and spice that wakes up your palate. It’s earthy, leathery, and has a bold espresso-like bitterness that feels very “serious.” At first, I thought it might be too much for me, but as I slowed down and adjusted to the intensity, I started noticing more balance: some sweetness in the background, a bit of cocoa, and an almost honeyed undertone if I really focused. The construction was excellent—firm ash, slow burn, and lots of thick smoke. This is not a casual cigar to puff without attention; it demands focus and rewards it with layers of flavor. By the final third, the power is undeniable, but it doesn’t lose its character. For me, it’s not an everyday cigar—I don’t think I’m ready for that level of strength all the time—but it gave me a glimpse of what full-bodied Nicaraguan cigars are all about. It was bold, flavorful, and memorable. Rating: 8/10
