Backwoods Purple Cigars - Pack of 5
Date Added: Thursday 16 October, 2025
The Backwoods Purple Cigars are a real treat. I really enjoyed these, they’ve got a lovely, sweet berry flavour that makes them stand out from the rest of the Backwoods range. They’re easy to light, smooth to smoke, and don’t need any special storage, which is always a bonus. My wife enjoys them too, and she took a pack to a family party recently. Everyone who tried one, mostly non-smokers, said they loved them, which says a lot about how approachable they are. A fun, flavourful smoke that’s great for sharing and always goes down well. Definitely one I’ll be keeping stocked up on.

La Invicta Nicaraguan Panetela Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 15 October, 2025
The La Invicta Nicaraguan Panatela wasn’t really for me. It’s a nice-looking, long cigar for the price but the flavour was far too bitter and strong from the start. I gave it a fair go, managed about a third, but eventually binned the rest. Even the more affordable Hamlets taste better to my palate. Maybe it would suit someone who prefers a heavier, punchier smoke, but I just found it harsh and unpleasant. A shame, really, as it looked promising, but this one’s off my list for future buys.

Honest Shakespeare Cigar Lighter - Black & Red (HON230)
Date Added: Tuesday 14 October, 2025
Quad jet flame so incredibly powerful, perhaps a touch overkill for anything but the heaviest ring gauges, as expected it's completely wind resistant. Gets a touch hot with constant use; however, it's not untouchable and it never gets so hot it stops working. Unsurprisingly it's also really quite heavy, not overly but you know it's in your pocket; however, you could ditch your cutter if you use the built in punch, I haven't, but it seems pretty sharp. The built in cigar rest in the lid is surprisingly useful and construction whilst not top notch seems decent enough.

Cohiba Shorts Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 14 October, 2025
As someone who is fairly new to the world of cigars, I recently had the opportunity to try a Cohiba Short, and it was an interesting experience overall. From the moment I opened the pack, I was impressed by the presentation. The cigar felt well made, with a rich aroma that hinted at quality tobacco. For a beginner like myself, that initial scent alone was enough to spark some excitement and curiosity. Upon lighting, the draw was smooth and the smoke output was satisfying, especially for such a compact cigar. The flavor profile started off rich with earthy notes and a hint of spice that added some character. I could definitely appreciate the craftsmanship and why Cohiba has such a strong reputation among cigar enthusiasts. That being said, I did find the harshness a bit stronger than I expected, especially toward the middle and final third. As someone who is still developing a palate for cigars, the intensity caught me slightly off guard. While it wasn’t overwhelming, it did remind me that the Cohiba Short is still a bold and flavorful smoke despite its small size. Overall, I
