AVO Classic No. 2 Toro Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 30 November, 2025
I really enjoyed this Avo Classic. The wrapper was a little veiny, and I noticed a vein on the cap causing it to lift slightly, so before cutting it I made a little cigar-glue repair which caused no further issues. I used a V-cut and a soft-flame lighter. The flavours were sweet and woody, perhaps a little floral, and quite mild (which is my preference). There was a good quantity of smoke produced which was smooth on both the palette and retrohale. Into the 2nd third the draw became a little tighter, and the burn line started to wander and required a couple of touch-ups with the lighter, though the flavours remained largely similar. By the final third the burn line had settled and the draw had relaxed again. The flavours here included some leather, and only a little peppery spice (I'm not a fan of too much pepper) and I smoked it down to the nub. Overall I found this an enjoyable smoke and have restocked this cigar to my humidor.

Charatan Churchill Tubed Cigar - 1 Single

7 inch, 48 ring gauge, good looking churchill type cigar. Lasted me 50 mins of pleasurable mild, creamy enjoyment with a slight nod toward soft leather. Definitely recommend it, would buy single tubed again.

AVO XO Intermezzo ND Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 30 November, 2025
Having really enjoyed the Avo Classic cigar, I had high hopes for this stick from the Avo XO range, which had been resting for 5 weeks in my humidor (at 68% humidity). I am sad to say I was disappointed. Firstly the good: the construction was superb, the draw was consistent and even, it required no touch-ups or delights and produced a good quantity of smoke. The cap looked a little roughly applied (but never loosened of lifted), so I opted for a punch cut which worked well. Now the bad: the taste! Upon lighting I found a persistent bitter aftertaste - I got some of the nuts and wood profiles, but all tainted by what one YouTuber described as "acrid bitter cedar" - and I agree. I persevered with it and the bitterness subsided for a while in the 2nd third before returning in the last third. I have another XO in the humidor, and will let it rest for now, I hope to leave a more positive review for it in the future.

Inka Secret Blend Red Bombaso Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 30 November, 2025
I prefer this size as I like a big ring gauge .I suggest you use a punch and avoid cutting off the end, as that can lead to problems! The draw is nice and easy, and the construction is much better than the 'Blue variety', which is, of course, my opinion. I like the change in strength as you smoke it down, and I appreciate that.

I buy these on a bundle deal. Ok indeed for an everyday smoke, although the construction can be indifferent....Not as good as the red Blend.

Dutch Blend Cigarillos - 1 Single

This is good morning smoke with coffee. If you looking for 10-15 minut smoke this are doing the job. They are in a good price not too strong. flavour is ok. I've bin trying different cigarillos and puros and this are the better ones I've had. Construction is solid. Burn is even. For this price they are great
