Partagas Serie D No. 4 Cigar - 1 Single

Just smoked one of these from an aged sampler from C.Gars 2007.
Nice and spicy to start with a sweet finish then moving on to leathery with flowery notes. Half way through this cigar it became super smooth, rich and creamy with a nutty finish. This is what cigars are all about.
The cigar loosened up the last third and became a bit hot near the end, but maybe I smoked it a little to fast. I got about 45 mins out of it and thoroughly enjoyed it.
I wish I could afford to buy lots of them and store them for 5 years. The 5 year old one I smoked was a real treat.

Light to Medium strength and flavour. In my opnion its a straight forward uncomplicated smoke. That doesn't really change much with its subtle creamish flavours, and hints of white pepper.
It did get a bit more spicy towards the end, however I was puffing more frequently at that point.
This is a good solid cigar, above average and enjoyable.

These are a magnificent mild smoke with a slightly peppery aftertaste - have to disagree with the tasting notes; they aren't medium to full-bodied. However, they are extremely well made with a smooth, slow and very even burn. Enjoyable and excellent value; mine were fine after only 1 week in the humidor.
