Perdomo 20th Anniversary Maduro Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 15 December, 2024
I really wanted to like this cigar but alas its not for me. Even before I cut the cap I tried a dry draw and unexpectedly I could draw so I lit the cigar without cutting. Even though I could draw it was a little tight so I clipped a small amount off the cap and then there was plenty of draw. Medium + flavoured, woody with leather and some spice and maybe a touch of espresso. The further you went down especially the last third and to the nub this was fairly nice just a bit too much spice for me. I had to touch up only twice due to an uneven burn line but nothing too drastic, and removing the band was simple with no issues. Would I buy it again ? probably not as it was a little overpowering for me but for those who like the spicier smoke this is for you.

Foundation Olmec Claro Toro Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 14 December, 2024
Foundation Olmec toro, what a interesting smoke! Firstly construction and the burn was phenomenal throughout the cigar no top ups needed. On the first third wasn't sure if I was going to like it was definitely white pepper and a cold note bitter maybe, but into the second third it warmed up lovely definitely a sweetness, a Coco note but deep which surprised me, the last third was deep the sweetness was there but more of a deep coffee note, lovely I smoked it until the last inch and couldn't physically hold it anymore. Don't be put off by the 4 stars it was just the opening third I wasn't keen on, but other than that a beautiful smoke.

Kristoff Original Maduro Robusto Tubed Cigar - 1 Single

What a nice surprise this cigar was, Really nice medium flavoured with plenty of smoke. It burnt very well and held the ash well. The further down you smoke this the smoother but fuller flavour it becomes and close to the nub its real tasty. Nice way to spend 90 minutes. (I am a slow smoker). Dont be fooled by the darkness of the wrapper its a medium smoke and and is enjoyable too. Must get more.

Adorini Chianti Medium Deluxe Cigar Humidor - 100 Cigar Capacity (AD041)
Date Added: Saturday 14 December, 2024
I thought I would wait a few months after purchase before reviewing this humidor. I can now say unequivocally that this is a very good humidor. I have had 3 x 60g 65% boveda packs in this since August. Now 4 months later and the humidy has stayed consistently between 67 and 67.5%. The 65% boveda packs are almost perfect and don't seem to have lost much moisture. This tells me that the seal on this humidor and overall build quality is very impressive. I get between 70 and 80 cigars into it consisting of a mix of sizes but mainly toro and robusto. For the £200 - £300 mark you will not get better than this in my opinion. It looks like my boveda packs will last 6 - 9 months in this humidor which is crazy!

Casa Carrillo Encore Majestic Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 14 December, 2024
50 minute smoke time with flavours of Earth, Wood and a hint of spice. Bands came away with no issues and the burn line was decent with no touch ups needed. Smoked to the nub where it was just a lovely easy smoke with fuller flavours of the same with plumes of satisfying smoke.
