Quintero Favoritos Cigar - 1 Single

Received this as part of the monthly subscription pack and stored it in the humidor at a steady 68% for around 3 months. The cap was very short so I used a punch cutter. An uneven burn was rapidly apparent with the centre filler burning faster than the rest and the wrapper which seemed thicker than in many other cigars reluctant to burn at all. Several touchups and removal of unburned wrapper needed. When into the last 2 inches the wrapper became strangely wrinkled and the cigar needed several relights. I gave up on it. In fairness, perhaps this was a bad example or maybe I should have given it a couple of days outside the humidor first.

Absolutely fantastic smoke, bought these to share with friends at a get together, I'm nowhere near experienced enough yet to discuss tasting notes however I can say, very smooth and near perfect burn. A little tight in the first half but not enough to hinder the experience. Enjoyed by all, definitely be ordering a other box.

Medium flavoured with woody and spice the main notes. Good construction with no touch ups required.
Plenty of good smoke all the way to the nub.
Total smoke time for me (Slow smoker) was 55 enjoyable minutes.

A very strange taste. Almost impossible to describe. I didn't detect anything leathery or vinegary. There is a nice underlying fruity sweetness, but it's laced with a flavour which to me seemed something like a cross between an oily rag and burnt cabbage and the room note is probably offensive enough to drive any non-smokers out of the building. It's not for everyone, but it's the kind of tobacco that Satan might enjoy, so I'd recommend it.

Very easy cigar to smoke all the way to the nub.
Woody, Earthy, with a little spice all the way through. No issues regarding burn lines or needing to be relit just a satisfying pleasant smoke all the way through.
Need a few in the humidor for sure.

Oliva Serie G Cameroon Cigar - 1 Single

I wasn't expecting such a nice little cigar for the price but this surprised me. Nice coffee/dark chocolate like flavor with a hint of spice throughout. Highly recommended.
