Mitchellero Peru Robusto Extra Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 03 September, 2025
As someone still new to cigars, the Mitchellero Peru Robusto has been a real eye-opener for me. It’s described as an approachable, well-priced smoke, and I can see why it’s a favorite among beginners and more seasoned smokers alike. On the cold draw, I got hints of earth and a touch of cedar, nothing too heavy or intimidating. Once lit, it opened up with a very smooth profile—creamy at times, with light coffee and nutty notes. There’s a bit of pepper, but it doesn’t dominate; it just adds a little tingle that keeps things interesting. The construction was surprisingly solid for the price point—the draw was consistent, and the ash held on longer than I expected. By the halfway point, I noticed some leathery notes and a mild sweetness that reminded me of dried fruit, though very subtle. It’s not overly complex, but it doesn’t need to be; it’s just a straightforward, reliable cigar that delivers plenty of flavor without overwhelming a newcomer. I’d happily recommend this to anyone starting out or looking for an easy daily smoke. For me, this one feels like great value and enjoyable bala

Perla Del Mar Corojo - Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 03 September, 2025
Not the prettiest cigar I've ever seen but most definitely not the worst. Cut with a guillotine but it's a really open draw so probably go with a V. Decent amounts of pure white, quite dense smoke. Nothing overly complex flavour wise, quite spicy with black pepper and sweet cedar, surprisingly creamy as it develops, touch of leather and black coffee to finish. Burn wasn't razor sharp but zero touch ups needed, smoke was nice and cool and ashed every inch or so. An absolute bargain at the price, really quite impressive.

Machetero Short Torpedo Cigar - 1 Single (End of Line)
Date Added: Tuesday 02 September, 2025
I didn't expect much of this cigar and bought it on whim. I'm so glad I did because it's another unexpected gem for the money. There is lots of flavour from the first puff and it only gets stronger the further you get. Woody, earthy and what I would describe as a strong cashew nut.

Plasencia Alma Del Campo Tribu Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 02 September, 2025
I really enjoyed this one! I have smoked a few Plasencia cigars now and this one is right up there with my favourites. I am not an expert at picking up flavours, but there were definite sweet notes at the start which progressed to woodiness as I got to the final smoke. As usual, the construction was excellent! I am definitely going to get a few more of these.

Casa Turrent 1880 Maduro Coronita Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 02 September, 2025
The Casa Turrent 1880 Maduro Coronita was my first cigar of this kind, and I really enjoyed it. The taste was smooth but rich. I picked up sweet chocolate and a bit of coffee with some earthiness in the background. The draw remained cooler at the very end. It burned evenly and lasted me about 30 minutes without any issues. For me, it felt like a comforting, satisfying smoke that I’d happily go back to.

Aladino Vintage Selection Elegante Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 02 September, 2025
This is one of my favourite once a week cigar, is smooth, creamy. The flavor here is quite mild and generic, though a thick, subtle sweetness comes out on occasion. I could make the case for some sort of bakery staple such as a cake donut or coffee cake as the most recognizable, though again, it’s pretty mild. It is reliable and consistent.
