Trinidad Fundadores Cigar - 1 Single

Trinidad is a fabulous medium strength smoke, and a great alternative to Cohiba, Trinidad Fundadores is a great alternative to Cohiba Lanceros with bigger ring gauge, 40 x 192mm.
The first part begins with a cold smoke with a nice woody and earthy flavours, after a few minutes I started finding a great caramel hint and very creamy taste.
On the second part, I can taste a great Vanilla flavour with a few white pepper notes.
The last part the earthy flavours are getting more prominent with spicy hints.

Wish I'd left this in the humidor a little longer. Heard a lot of good things about this little cigar and keen to try it. Great start cut beautifully and lit perfectly square. After the first quarter though I started to have some issues. A lot of heat in the middle and a uneven burn causing a couple of re lights!! It had a great flavour and definite complexity with some rich woody spice coming through. Will love to buy a couple more and leave them to mature a little.

What a cigar I would defiantly buy again. I think It is up there with the Rocky patel tin of five although the Rocky is more expensive this is a great smoke I personally give it and the rocky six stars of I could even though I prefer the Rocky as they are my favourite stick ..

Vegueros Mananitas Cigar - 1 Single

This small cigar measuring 4” length and 46 ring gauge is, in my opinion a fantastic short full bodied cigar. Absolutely perfect for those short breaks during a cold winter.
In the first part you can find lots of strong leathery notes. The smooth and creamy full bodied taste has hints of spicy black pepper.
The second part is much milder in comparison to first. More creamy with lots of woody notes and hints of sweet, but full flavoured white pepper.
In the third part the strength comes back with fiery black pepper and hints of distinctive ginger. Creamy and spicy, a lovely combination.
This cigar is getting very popular in these cold days. A fresh ginger tea or a slightly peated Stalla Dhu Islay whisky is perfect to enhance the spicy flavours. Or, you could pair it with a lovely sweet Stalla Dhu Speyside for a more balanced experience.

Last week I sampled the new Juan Lopez Superba RE16. Today I wanted to make a nice review of the regular production Juan Lopez No 2.
Juan Lopez No 2 is in my opinion one of the best Constructed Havanas. It has a lovely wrapper. (I Love them when they come with a dark wrapper) The construction in flavour is amazing.
The first part of this robusto 124mm x 50 is extremely woody (The regional edition one smells like nuts, this one smells sweet and woody) the first flavours are extremely lovely wood, and very sweet brown sugar notes.
The second part is very mellow on my palate, I can recognise a few small notes of almonds.
The third part is getting much more full bodied. Flavours are becoming very rich in sweet notes, some smooth white pepper notes, a bit spicy on my palate but just a little.
The draw is lovely. I cannot find any problems in this cigar. Wonderful smoke.
I would like to recommend trying this cigar with our two Stalla Dhu whiskies, if you like to combine flavours. For the first sweet part of the cigar, try our Stalla Dhu Islay; you can combine the sweetnes

Not a bad smoke was expecting a bit more after reading the reviews, didn't really live up to the star ratings that it has been getting, however the Draw was ok and ash stacked up nicley but felt the flavour was a bit lacking and not as smooth as i would like Not really my kind of smoke.
