Montecristo Edmundo Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 06 May, 2018
A delightful cigar, consistent from the first to the last lamented draw. Cedar, leather and pepper, along with a cool sweetness that is totally wonderful on the palate. When In search of the mythical never ending cigar, you’d want it to be like this, never harsh and always communicating it’s provdence from every easy pull. So much so that despite being an infrequent cigar smoker, today I felt the need to smoke another cigar later in the day. Sadly it wasn’t an Edmundo, but a giant slayer in the guise of a Jose Piedra, whilst not as sublime as the Monte, scratched the itch that it had left me with. I’d give the Edmundo a 4.5, it’s not a No2 but it is an undeniably good smoke and one that should be a go to on a warm summers day when relaxation with no hassle is what is required. Some have said that the burn is a little uneaven, yes maybe slightly, but never did it canoe or become something that dominated the smoke. I know that I often say this, but I’d urge you to try this wonderful cigar should you get the chance.

Montecristo Petit Edmundo Cigar - 1 Single

Like James mentioned these can burn unevenly, flavours for my palate came through in the first third as peppery, slight leather note and bitter chocolate, second third sweet creaminess, also found the final third to be quite hot but left longer between singular puffs could still be enjoyed however started to unevenly burn and gave up just after removing the band.

Chinchalero Torpeditos Cigar - 1 Single

Overall not a bad cigar. I think it lacks a lot a flavour and doesn’t really have a great deal of complexity. Personally I have not had an issue with the draw however this is a budget cigar so buyer beware. I think there are better cigars for not a lot more money 2/5

Juliany Corojo Corona Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 03 May, 2018
This is the only one from Juliany I dont like. Taste wise its pretty good but like others have said it requires constant relighting which kind of takes the enjoyment out of the smoke for me. Ive tried storing them at different humidity levels, left some for months, smoked some straight from the shop it doesnt matter all with out a doubt require constant relighting. I would always stump up some extra cash and go for the chisel, robusto or torpedo version a much more relaxing hassle free smoke IMHO.

Juliany Corojo Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 03 May, 2018
Ive had a load of these over the past few years and with the exception of the small corona cigar they do (which never seems to stay alight for me) I cant fault the range.. The robusto, chisel and torpedo versions are all lovely consistent smokes. Rich in flavour without being too strong on the nicotine. Lots of smoke, slightly sweet perfect with a morning coffee or a rum and coke in the evening. One of my go to everyday cigars.
