I'm not going to go on about tastes and smells. I will say that it was an enjoyable smoke, great with a porter. Lit well and burnt evenly. Got a good 35/40 minutes out of it before the taste became a bit bitter. Held together well, with a good mouth feel. I am sure there are better on the market but I've paid a lot more for big names, and this little beauty holds its own. Great value for money!

Must say I agree with Christian (over on previous review page) on this one, better to spend an extra pound for chinche's excellent Novillo fuerte maduro.
But will give an extra star for its build, and price.

Must disagree with the other reviews. Perfectly decent smoke. It'll never win any awards and it's not what you'd call complex but it's pleasant enough and for the price is quite decent. Got a few in the humidor and will order again when they're out.

Smooth, tasty smoke. Didn't buy from Cgars (sorry guys) but finished work for the week and wanted a smoke NOW. Paid a bit more from my local store, but was still worth the price. Sat out on my patio. Clear sky, bit cold as it's February. But smoked this down to the end. Are there better smokes out there? Yes. But, for a tubed, fairly cheap Cuban. You really can't go wrong. If you're new to cigars, you should definitely give it a go. If you're not, you should still give it a try. I'll definitely be ordering a few more.

Conquistador Corona Cigar - 1 Single

I might give this one another pass considering other favourable reviews but other than good construction (if a tad loose) this was a rather unpleasant smoke on this occasion.
First inch or so was uncharacteristically harsh, almost breathtakingly so and the waves of soapy smoke carried similar sharp, unpleasant whiff of tobacco, grass and wood, mixed into soul crushing scattered blend of flavours.
It developed further and relaxed somewhat but this remained a much heavier cigar than expected and without ever really earning stripes for being full bodied.
Some flavours certainly appeal to particular smokers but I will wait a while before trying Conquistador again even if pound for pound this is indeed a lot of fairly well made cigar.

Nice little smoke. Was one in a sampler I got for Xmas. Enjoyed while the Mrs was cooking the turkey. A nice 30 min smoke. It was a pleasant su prise in the pack. I'm ordering more.
