Padron 2000 Robusto Natural Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 07 October, 2015
Pre light aroma is a faint coco and barn yard type smell. For this cigar I used a punch cutter and disscovered this isn't the best cutter to use as there is only one cap so make sure you use a guillotine cutter to prevent the cap and wrapper from cracking. After I had removed the tobacco from the cap I took a draw which was excellent with only a touch resistance. First light flavours is a straight aged tobacco core with a hint of pepper on the retro hail the finish Carrys the tobacco taste and slowly develops into a creamy type of note. Second third draw reveals a sweet coco and caramel on the draw with a slight pepper. The finish is still a creamy aged tobacco Final third the coco has faded off with the caramel and cream on the draw the cream Carrys over to the finish along with age tobacco finished off with a slight liquorice. Overall I love this stick full of rich desert like flavours the body is medium ash holding 2inch at a time with no burn problems.

Punch Coronations Tubed Cigar - 1 Single

I Picked up one of these from my local shop just to try one but left it in my humidor for about a month before smoking it yesterday, and I have to say it was one of, if not the best cigar I've had to date. Pretty much everything was there that I like in a cigar: - Medium/Firm draw - Light to Medium flavour - Burnt perfectly even without having to adjust - Cigar itself felt firm in your hand - lasted about 45 mins - Under £10 (Bonus points) I appreciate those features may not be for everyone but if you're a fan of the above then I couldn't recommend it more.

Partagas Maduro No. 1 Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 12 September, 2015
A great WHAM of flavours! This was recommended to me as during conversation I mentioned I enjoyed a cigar with a darker wrapper and as it was fairly new he showed me this. In the first third, i found typical partagas flavours, then along came the sweet flavour of a Maduro wrapper (put a smile on my face) the sweetness soon turned in to chocolate and stayed for a while. Second third the sweetness left and and turned much more piney, which then quickly turned much more savoury with a hint of sweet barbeque. Then hitting the final third and I was punched in the mouth by what suprised me - a long lasting, beautifully tasting aniseed. From this point I really, really, didn't want the cigar to end. A very sweet taste on the lips and light pepper taste on the tip of my tongue. 5 stars. Throughout the smoke, a very easy draw-starting off a little too easy but quickly balancing perfectly- and excellent, consistent burn! A hell of a lot of beautifully creamy smoke. When in store, I bought two, one for now and one for in a few months, but after what i can't describe as anything

Punch Petit Coronations Tubed Cigar - Box of 25
Date Added: Saturday 22 August, 2015
Not my first cigar but my first big purchase and a very nice cigar it is. The box is well sealed nice presentation very good condition. The cigar is a mellow smooth smoke that lasts between 20 to 40 minutes. I like a cool smoke and this cigar is as cool as you like right up to the band. Very happy with my first significant purchase perhaps a humidor next and then a collection of fine cigars to make the summer evenings in Surrey even more pleasurable. Excellent service from CGars. Thank you for this experience. Regards Darren

Partagas Petit Coronas Especiales Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 22 August, 2015
A good looking cigar, well made, firm with a tinge of honey aroma and alot of saltyness on the lips pre lighting. Once lit it is extremely peppery and much stronger than anticipated, if not harsh to the palette. The mild aroma of honey is non existent in the actual flavour, which is a little dissapointing. However, the harshness and pepperyness on the palette is still very evident, if not overwhelming. This continues until the end with no real diversion in flavour, other than a little bitterness. In my opinion a very straight forward cigar with little or no complexity and progression. A Courvoisier VS.
