My favourite churchill. Great construction, amazing value, sweet, complex, milky coffee notes, cedar and leathery. Great evolution of strength and flavours. David - C.Gars Ltd Cigar Ambassador
Normally smoke Cuban but the last year I have been experimenting with new world and on a trip to Chester to top up humidor for Christmas I purchased one of the Oliva serie v belicoso. And after Christmas dinner went to humidor and couldn’t resist its beautiful outer wrapper. I found it a absolutely perfect medium cigar lovely flavours with a little spice what I absolutely love these are definitely a new favourite.
The first one of these I smoked was a bit rubbish. The draw was tight and it didnt want to stay lit no matter how much I puffed on it. However it was such a beautiful looking cigar and it tasted great so I gave it another try and Im glad I did. The next one burned perfectly. Predominately mocha flavours and smokes cool to the very end.
Absolute beaut of a cigar, always kicks off with a good bit of pepperines to start with and is full of flavour throughout. The draw is always perfect as is the burn. I can honestly say I have smoked plenty of these over the last couple of years and never had a bad one. It also passes my Friday night test and pairs perfectly with a Guinness to ease the stresses of the working week.
