For a Madura robusto this was actually a decidedly mild and easygoing smoke. Leathery and spicy at first, but as it developed more complex flavours were evident and it became much sweeter with notes of baked cookie, coffee and cedar. Altogether a pleasant 45-50 minute Saturday afternoon treat. It was a nice addition as the mystery cigar in the May subscription box which I would definitely consider buying more of and I can certainly recommend it as a good all round value for money cigar.

This is my honest review, i bought 2 of these due to the 5* review on here.
The draw was so tight for the first half on both to the point i nearly bin them.
The taste was spot on, I had mine with a hot chocolate my mouth was in heaven.
After taste in my opinion the worst part. It tastes like local anesthetic reminded me of being at the dentist and that the last thing I want to think about when smoking.

Oliva Serie G Maduro Robusto Cigar - 1 Single

I got one of these in my first subscription box. It was the mystery cigar and what a pleasure it was I will certainly by ordering some when they are back in stock.
This was my first Oliva, and as i am partial to maduros, I was always going to be critical.
Nice draw with rich mouthfuls of smoke. Quite spicy When exhaled through the nose. Held it’s ash well and smoked right down to the last inch with chocolatey spicy flavours.

lit fairly evenly and stayed alight. A rough taste with the first draw and then a relatively smooth smoke thereafter. Unusually, i paired this with a fruity rose wine and it wasnt unpleasant. Would definitely buy again, and reasonably priced.

Lit easily. Didnt go out. A consistent smooth smoke throughout until the very end with only a slight peppery taste. I would say this took me an hour to smoke but i am a slow smoker so i would probably guess about 30 - 45 minutes. Will buy again.

Don’t smoke cigars to regularly like I used to but have started to find the time to enjoy them again and thought I would try this out and really enjoyed it. I thought it was smooth through out and the burn was great. I found it woody and a bit of leather at first but it was most enjoyable in the second third where I got coffee and a nice hit of liquorice. I would buy again
