Mitchellero Peru Robusto Extra Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 22 May, 2023
Some beautiful complex flavours in this stick that kept me intrigued throughout the entire cigar. Based on the price point of these I dont think there is much out there that can compete for your everyday smokes. A nice medium strength which compliments them bold flavour notes of wood, earth, coffee and sweetness. No issues with the construction, my burn was straight, ash stacked pretty well and the draw was perfect! I cannot wait to indulge in the rest of the Mitchellero Peru range and try out them other Vitolas... Something tells me they will be a frequent purchase for my humidor.

Im now torn between this and the original being my favourite. This stick had a beautiful complexity to it that just stood out to me, and Id say that its a medium strength cigar with a full body. I got flavours of wood, leather, a sweet finish with some citrus in the background. The burn started off uneven, however it evened out soon after. I had a perfect draw and overall I was super impressed with the value for money this stick has. The great thing about this cigar is that it is so flavourful but they dont clash with each other, its a very smooth transition between each flavour, and thats something that really stands out to me. Looking forward to trying more vitolas in this range soon.

Mitchellero Peru Gordo Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 21 May, 2023
Ordered the Sample pack, smoked this one yesterday, really liked it. A nice 40-45min afternoon smoke, with a Coffee, and a Bourbon. Given the price point, there was no harsh surprises, smooth, a nice background taste, and aroma. The ash was was a consistent Grey, not huge plunges of smoke, the burn was very consistent all the way down. I used a V Cutter, which gave ‘me’ a nice amount of intake. This Cigar, unlike some I’ve purchased at this point are a good ‘bang for buck’ the Conquistadors I’ve had have knots in, go out, and crumble at the Cap end!! I’m hoping this was just a bad batch of them, we’ll see when I retry then? But, too be honest, I can see these Peru’s being my go too Cigar..excellent value.

Well I got one of each of these to try after a recommendation last weekend and I have to say I was very surprised how good they are. Im smoking the Gordo with my morning coffee as I type and theyre complementing each other beautifully. Theres a very nice balance of room note and taste I get the very nutty taste from this and a good long retrohale that doesnt have you in tears. I would recommend these to a new starter as for the price its a very good introductory smoke 5/5 👍

New and nice I would say!. Construction is sound and the burn is nice and easy with a good hint of spice on the palate. This is the first of these new types from C.Gars and I shall work my way through the rest and report back. Over the years I have taken to using a punch for most cigars now as it more than forgives my hamfisted ways that have seen many a good cigar ruined I am expecting that this range might end up burning a bit hot but, to date, this one was/is fine.
