Typical Monte taste. Correction. Would have the typical Monte taste if the one I had wasn`t plugged solid. The number of stars doesn`t reflect this - I like Montes. ;-)

Not unlike the Petit Tubo, a classic Montecristo flavor in a can. The extra length vs. the petit seems to give it time to develop some bitterness late.

A little bit better then the Petit Tubos. Good earthy and leathery flavour. Draws well and burns evenly. A bit tarry towards the end, though.

Despite what may have been said about the Monte Petit Tubo's in the past, I have to say that they are very agreeable. Nice aroma and even burn. I found my example to be a milder cigar than other brands i've tried, which is in no way a short coming. All in all a very enjoyable cigar that is suitable for 'every day' smoking. Highly recommended.
