Being a newcomer to the cigar world ive recently tried alot of different cigars but this one is my favourite in its size. Woody flavour, burns very well and is good for a 35 min smoke sitting in the sun! Great for its price, definatly keep a few handy in the humidor!

Montecristo Open J Cigar - 1 Single

Only had this in my humidor for a week so was pretty fresh. Was a bit harsh after lighting but totally mellowed down very quickly. First half smoked very well, slow burning and very even, very peppery and spicey with a hint of leather taste. Kept pretty cool down to the last third, produced an enjoyable ammount of smoke. Reminded me a bit like a montecristo no.5 but stronger! All in all an enjoyable smoke but definatly not one for the morning.

Very enjoyable smoke only complaint is me being unlucky i believe, in that the one i had was a tight draw, and the first one of these i had was not am tempted to try the no 4s now.

Fantastic little cigar. One of firsts and still one of my favourites. Good draw, good contruction and good burn very consistent. Rather mellow and always leaves me wanting more!

Montecristo No. 1 Cigar - 1 Single

Always a big fan of the no. 4, my first time with the no. 1. My brother in law brought some over for Easter Sunday dinner, Purchased at Robert Grahams in Edinburgh. They say what you eat and drink before your cigar changes the experience... Scallops followed by roast lamb washed down with full bodied red wine and mature cheese, finished with virage port and a Monte No.1. Wow! pouring outside, so the kitchen is now cloudy with the fragrant sublime smoke from these beauties. I will definitely be getting some more of these. Pronounced hints of vanilla and chocolate, getting stronger and spicier towards the end. A delight from start to finish. Cheers bro!
