This was a really enjoyable cigar. Good size for the money, lasted around 50 minutes. It burned well and had a smooth, mild woody taste.

This nice little chubby fella needs to be given a good amount of time to enjoy. I was on it for 1 hour 20 minutes. Some of the tastes I got from it were marzipan and spice. Being relatively new to cigar smoking, I got a big nicotine hit towards the end - I would warn any newbies to treat this one with respect and take it nice and slow. I will be trying another one in the near future.

Montecristo No. 5 Cigar - 1 Single

Smoked a No. 5 to celebrate the arrival of my new humidor today. Frankly a bit of a disappointment. The flavours were fantastic, leathery spice with hints of chocolate to my taste. Unfortunately the construction was awful. Uneven burn, had to relight about 3 times and the third required a snip due to tunnelling. A great shame as the Monty 4 is just about my favourite go to smoke!

Montecristo No. 4 Cigar - 1 Single

So far been the best cigar I've ever smoked! Had a nice even draw, earthy spicy flavours, not too powerful. Tried my first one on the roof of my hotel in Rome, overlooking the Colosseum with a glass of Scotch. I'll never forget my first Monty 4!

wonderful cigar, a good smoke for any time of the day, i had this with a couple glasses of Balvenie 14yr Caribbean cask on New Years Eve, and i was in heaven... definitely a smooth smoke- i will be buying this again :)

A real palate cleanser. First third, juicy apples, chewing gum and lemon curd. Second third, salt and pepper. Last third, nothing but clean smoke. Uncomplicated. Simples!
