Given the mixed reviews I wasn't expecting too much but I was pleasantly surprised.
This is a very mild and smooth flavoured stick with plenty of smoke, a medium strength and subtle aroma. It paired perfectly with my Sunday morning coffee on the balcony in the sun. The final 3rd developed some faint savoury nutty notes. It burns a little fast but still impressive for the price.

Enjoyable little smoke with a coffee or sparkling water. Ideal size to enjoy if short on time or don’t want to commit to a larger cigar. Looking forward to trying more of the La Invicta range that C Gars have to offer.

I’m not an expert in cigars, but this one really impressed me. The flavours were clear and easy to pick out a gentle nuttiness, some warm baking‑spice notes, and a touch of sweet wood that all came together beautifully. The profile stayed balanced from start to finish, never harsh, just steadily enjoyable. I had it with a couple of glasses of single malt whisky and the pairing worked incredibly well, each sip bringing out more of the cigar’s sweetness and spice. A refined, memorable smoke even for someone still learning their way around cigars.

Smoked this last night and I’m still thinking about it the next morning! Wonderful earthy, nutty tastes throughout and a bit of spice came through in the final third. I would definitely buy one of these again, especially at that price.

I’m currently smoking one of these with my morning coffee next to the pool in Cyprus. Not getting any coffee notes or blueberries, frankly I’d be alarmed if I got the latter. What I am getting is a delicious smooth smoke exactly as I’d expect from a Dominican Connecticut with a perfect burn and a firm well striated ash. The tins of five are good value and very convenient for carrying around.
