Reasonable cigar, spicy and peppery on the opening, solid ash, dusty smoke texture, First third spice pepper wood and smooth bread notes, 2nd bread wood upfront pepper on the finish, final third flavours fell off dominated by woody notes. not a bad cigar would smoke again decent contender at its price point but there are better options.

La Unica No. 400 Maduro Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 04 August, 2026
The first thing that struck me with the Unico maduro was the smell of dark chocolate before Light up. Initial notes of a spicy cinnamon and black pepper start the 1st third. As the spice dies down the flavour transitioned to an Oakiness with black pepper still on the retro. I picked up a sweet almond on the finish. The 2nd third sees the flavours amping up. I got a cocoa taste mixing with almond. Some great flavours developed here. The flavours got washed out in the final third, they were woody as the cigar heated up. Perfect Burn, perfect draw and great flavours.

On light up this one packed a spicy punch with notes of black pepper and earth. The smoke was very thick and creamy. 10 minutes in and the spice mellowed into a mild cedar. The 2nd third had hints of coffee and cream. The flavours were mild and the burn was fast but even. Toward the end of the 2nd third i was hit with chocolate notes, the flavours turned to a medium. Very nice! The final third needed a few touch ups as the burn became uneven. The flavours became washed out as it heated up. This is a great choice for a budget cigar.

Got this as Mystery cigar, It had a nice smoke texture was a dry smoothness i was getting champagne with some floral and citrus notes, retrohale was smooth with woody notes it was really enjoyable but didn't last, unfortunately retrohale became harsh and flavours rapidly declined half way into the cigar leaving just wood and with some feint floral notes and bitterness that grew into the final 3rd drowning out any other flavours It was a reasonable cigar that I'd smoke again if it was on sale just for the first half.
